La disparition tragique de Moustapha Ba, ancien ministre de l’Économie et des Finances, survenue en France dans des circonstances encore floues, continue d’alimenter de nombreuses interrogations.
Alors que l’enquête sur son assassinat se poursuit, une révélation récente vient ajouter une nouvelle dimension à cette affaire. Selon plusieurs sources, Moustapha Ba aurait confié à Bassirou Diomaye Faye et à Ousmane Sonko que les chiffres économiques transmis sous l’ancien régime étaient falsifiés, un aveu qui remet en question la transparence de la gestion économique sous Macky Sall.
Lors d’une rencontre organisée à Mbao par la Jeunesse Patriotique Sénégalaise (JPS), Amadou Moustapha Ndieck Sarré a dénoncé une manipulation des données économiques du pays sous le régime précédent.
« Ils ont menti sur les chiffres, ils ont menti au peuple sénégalais et aux partenaires », a-t-il affirmé devant une assemblée attentive. Pour lui, il est impératif que toute la lumière soit faite sur la disparition suspecte de Moustapha Ba, car, selon ses propres mots, « il a été tué dans des conditions troubles ».
Cette déclaration a suscité une vive réaction du porte-parole du gouvernement, qui a tenu à répondre aux accusations en mettant en garde contre ce qu’il qualifie de manœuvres de diversion.
« Quand on manque d’arguments, on fabrique des polémiques », a-t-il déclaré, avant de poursuivre : « Après avoir plongé le pays dans une situation économique catastrophique, les champions du maquillage des chiffres et de la diversion tentent aujourd’hui d’exister autrement qu’en assumant leur bilan. »
Le porte-parole a également profité de cette occasion pour évoquer le lancement des activités de l’École du Parti Daaray Cheikh Anta Diop à Mbao, un événement selon lui dédié à « un militantisme engagé et au service du développement ». Il a insisté sur le fait que le gouvernement actuel reste concentré sur les véritables enjeux du pays, loin des polémiques qui, selon lui, visent à détourner l’attention des citoyens.
« Soyons clairs : comme tout citoyen, j’ai le droit de m’interroger sur des faits marquants de notre actualité, sans pour autant faire d’affirmations », a-t-il précisé.
