Le premier ministre, Ousmane Sonko a ouvert ce 18 février 2025, la quatrième édition du forum de la Petite et moyenne entreprise (Pme). Il a réaffirmé la disponibilité du gouvernement à demeurer aux côtés des entreprises pour les accompagner à trouver des solutions pour le développement du pays.
Il a rappelé que le gouvernement est train de mettre en place une stratégie nationale de promotion et de développement des Petites et moyennes entreprises et Petite et moyennes industries (Pme-Pmi) qui servira de cadre d’intervention harmonisée des Structures d’appui et d’encadrement (Sae) et facilitera l’accès aux financements et aux marchés.
Le chef du gouvernement sénégalais a dit accorder une attention toute particulière au renforcement des compétences entrepreneuriales et à la protection des entreprises sénégalaises en vue de réduire voire freiner leur forte mortalité, en leur permettant de gagner des parts de marchés beaucoup plus importantes aux plans national, sous régional et régional dans la perspective de la Zone de libre-échange continentale africaine (Zlecaf).
En outre, le premier ministre a soutenu que des réformes nécessaires seront engagées pour améliorer la gouvernance du secteur et l’environnement des affaires pour rendre accessible les facteurs de production, mettre en place des mesures d’incitation fiscale plus adaptées etc.
1000 milliards de FCFA de financement au profit des Pme-Pmi pour 2025
Il s’est engagé, avec le gouvernement, pour la mise en œuvre accélérée du programme de financement massif des Pme-Pmi dont l’objectif est de porter l’encours de crédits accordés par les institutions financières aux Pme-Pmi de 600 milliards de FCfa en 2024 à 3000 milliards de francs Cfa en 2028.
Dans le cadre de ce programme, Ousmane Sonko s’est réjoui de la signature d’un pacte de financement de 1000 milliards de francs Cfa destinés à financer les Pme-Pmi pour cette année 2025.
Il a ainsi invité les parties signataires de ce pacte au respect des engagements souscrits pour que les 1000 milliards annoncés soient « effectivement décaissés au profit des Pme-Pmi et surtout judicieusement utilisés en faveur de notre économie ».
Il a salué la « pertinence » du thème de cette quatrième édition du forum qui est : « Pme et innovation, leviers de souveraineté ». Il a indiqué, en ce sens, que l’innovation est un moyen de renforcer la compétitivité de l’économie sénégalaise.
Pour M. Sonko, ce forum est une opportunité de mettre en valeur les innovations et le savoir-faire des Pme-Pmi par la valorisation des produits locaux, l’essor de l’industrie nationale et la promotion de la consommation des biens et services produits au Sénégal.
De son avis il faut, cependant, aller plus loin en définissant les standards qui correspondent aux aspirations sénégalaises et en labélisant le Made in Senegal.
