Beaucoup le craignaient. Ce samedi, le président Macky Sall a finalement annoncé le report de l’élection présidentielle qui était prévue ce mois de février. Il a annoncé l’abrogation du décret de convocation du corps électoral.
«J’ai signé le décret 2024 106 du 3 février 2024 abrogeant le décret 2023- 22 83 du 20 novembre 2023 portant convocation du corps électoral.
Pour ma part, mon engagement solennel, à ne pas me présenter à la présidentielle reste inchangée. Enfin, j’engagerai un dialogue national ouvert afin de réunir les conditions d’une élection libre transparente et inclusive dans uns Sénégal apaisé et réconcilié», a indiqué le président Macky Sall.
Il dit s’être adossé aux accusations portées contre des membres du Conseil constitutionne et l’enquête parlementaire ouverte à ce sujet.
