Au Sénégal, le président du collectif des Lougatois pour l’entre-aide et la solidarité (CLES) a annoncé, samedi 20 juillet 2024, l’octroi de cinquante branchements sociaux aux ménages pauvres de Montagne nord, un quartier de la commune de Louga.
Abdou Coumba Diop a relevé, lors d’une cérémonie d’hommage au roi des arènes de lutte de Louga, connu sous le nom de Ndongo Daara que « cette initiative s’inscrit dans le cadre des efforts constants du collectif pour améliorer les conditions de vie des populations de la ville de Louga ».
L’opérateur économique, Abdou Coumba Diop, a appelé « tous les ménages intéressés à se manifester rapidement pour bénéficier de ces branchements sociaux vitaux ».
Le collectif des Lougatois pour l’entre-aide et la solidarité, a associé à cette cérémonie, une dimension écologique en offrant des plants à reboiser pour le reverdissement du cadre de vie de la commune.
Le lutteur Ndongo Daara a exprimé toute « sa gratitude » à Abdou Coumba Diop pour son soutien indéfectible envers lui mais aussi aux populations de Louga.
