« J’ai fait tout ce que je devais faire […]. Ma mission s’arrête là », a-t-elle martelé. En effet, en prenant cette décision, Françoise Hélène Gaye dit avoir le sentiment du devoir accompli.
« J’ai fait tout ce que je devais faire pour le Sénégal, pour Adji Sarr. Ma mission s’arrête là. Adji Sarr a aujourd’hui des milliers de papas, de mamans, d‘oncles, de tantes et de volontaires qui se disputent sa proximité et sa gestion », a-t-elle déclaré sur sa page Facebook.
Elle ajoute : « ces élections ont jugé la portée de notre de notre intervention. Justice pour Adji Sarr a été entendue jusqu’aux contrées les plus lointaines. Partout où Ousmane Sonko est passé il a été accueilli par les cris des populations justice pour Adji Sarr. » Elle dit espérer que cette demande populaire sera respectée et qu’il y aura un procès et la paix.
« Trop de trahisons, trop de méchancetés et de mensonges. J’ai fait tout ce que je devais faire et tout ce que je pouvais non pas par haine mais par devoir et par amour de notre patrie et de l’humain », ressasse-t-elle. Avant d’ajouter : « il est temps de tourner la page. Bonne chance à tous et que vive le Sénégal. Je demeure en union de prières avec tous. Que Dieu protège notre patrie. It’s time for me ! ».
