Un nouveau front s’ouvre dans le bras de fer autour de West Africa Energy (WAE). Samuel Sarr, ancien ministre de l’Énergie et ex-dirigeant de l’entreprise, a saisi le tribunal de commerce de Dakar pour demander le placement de la société sous administration provisoire.
Son objectif : empêcher que le projet de centrale électrique piloté par WAE ne soit compromis.
Un bras de fer judiciaire à fort enjeu
Affaire West Africa Energy : Samuel Sarr et Harouna Dia lancent une offensive judiciaire contre Moustapha Ndiaye et Abdoulaye Dia
Écarté de la gestion de WAE après son arrestation en novembre 2024 pour abus de biens sociaux présumé portant sur 8,7 milliards de francs CFA, Samuel Sarr conteste les décisions prises en son absence. Il vise particulièrement la nomination d’un nouveau directeur général, décidée par ses anciens associés après son incarcération.
Mais Samuel Sarr ne mène pas cette bataille seul.
L’homme d’affaires Harouna Dia, également actionnaire de WAE, s’est joint à sa procédure contre Moustapha Ndiaye, Abdoulaye Dia et Khadim Bâ, les autres figures influentes de l’entreprise.
Khadim Bâ joue la carte de la neutralité
Si Samuel Sarr et Harouna Dia contestent la gestion actuelle de WAE, Khadim Bâ a choisi une posture différente.
Selon nos sources, il aurait envoyé son avocat à Samuel Sarr pour s’excuser, expliquant qu’il avait par erreur influencé Moustapha Ndiaye dans certaines décisions stratégiques. Une manière pour lui de se désolidariser du conflit en cours.
Un tournant le 10 février
L’audience devant le tribunal de commerce est fixée au 10 février. Cette date sera déterminante pour l’avenir de West Africa Energy et de son projet énergétique stratégique.
En parallèle, Samuel Sarr a déposé une demande de liberté provisoire, mais le parquet s’est opposé à sa libération. Le juge du deuxième cabinet devra trancher prochainement sur ce volet judiciaire explosif.
