Joker: Folie À Deux has garnered the lowest CinemaScore in comic book movie history as
the film bombed at the box office on opening night. 

The psychological musical thriller — which has been criticized as ‘bleak’ and ‘disappointing’ — officially released in theaters on Friday, October 4.

31% and a critic score of 32%.

The sequel has been roundly criticized for being a musical
and ‘ignoring’ the DC fanbase – with an agent familiar with director Todd Phillips’ process telling Variety
he ‘wanted nothing to do with DC’ during the making of the
film, with DC bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran notably absent from the film’s LA premiere afterparty
last month. 

A source said: ‘If the first movie was about some down-on-his-luck, mentally ill
guy in a downtrodden city, it makes maybe $150 [million] worldwide.
Not a billion. People showed up because that guy was Joker.’

In an apparent snub by Phillips, the opening sequence
of the film does not include a DC Studios logo.

A Warner spokesman added that a DC logo appears at the end of the Joker sequel,
while Phillips declined to comment to the publication.

Several frictions are said to have developed between Phillips,
DC and Warner- with claims that Michael DeLuca, Chairperson of Warner Bros.
Entertainment, and CEO Pamela Abdy seemed ‘unwilling’ to say no to Phillips due
to his huge past successes.

It is claimed Phillips would ‘only’ speak with DeLuca and
Abdy rather than Gunn and Safran – who took control of DC two months before production began on Joker 2
in December 2022.

Gunn and Safran did attend the first director’s cut screening for the studio but Phillips fueled rift speculation when he told a reporter: ‘With all due respect to them, this is kind of
a Warner Bros. movie.’

Warner Bros. Discovery CEO David Zaslav also met with Phillips shortly
after WarnerMedia and Discovery merged in April 2022
and was ‘open to filming in Los Angeles if the director would make the sequel at
a lower price point.’

The studio wanted to film in London which would have
cost around 20 per cent less.

A source directly involved with the film recently shared: ‘The one thing about genre stuff: If you don’t listen and pay attention to
what the fan expectations are, you’re going to fail’; director Todd Phillips seen with Gaga
and Phoenix at the LA premiere September 30

However, Phillips insisted on filming in LA with the budget
remaining static.

A Warner spokesman told the publication the studio
‘supported the decision to film in Los Angeles’.

A source directly involved with the film said: ‘No one could get through
to Todd. And the one thing about genre stuff: If you don’t
listen and pay attention to what the fan expectations are, you’re going to
fail.

Insiders also claim studio bosses did not want to premiere the film at the Venice Film Festival,
but Phillips pushed back – with a Warner spokesman saying the studio
‘fully supported the decision to bring the film to Venice. 

Along with Gaga and Phoenix, other stars that had appeared in the sequel include Brendan Gleeson, Catherine
Keener, Zazie Beatz and Steve Coogan.

Namibians returned to vote on Friday in 36 polling stations
reopened two days after a chaotic election, set to test the ruling
party’s 34-year grip on power, was marred by technical problems.

Tensions are mounting in the historically stable and peaceful
southern African nation where Wednesday’s election was marked by long delays and labelled a « sham » by the opposition.

Some people waited 12 hours in line to vote in presidential and legislative polls, billed as the toughest yet for the South West Africa People’s
Organisation (SWAPO) party, in power since Namibia’s 1990
independence from South africa.

Wednesday’s queues were caused by many technical problems, including issues with tablets used
to register voters and shortages of ballot papers.

In some cases, torches used to show up invisible ink had run out of batteries
and mobile voting teams had left areas with voters
still in the queues, it said.

Facing criticism from both voters and parties, the electoral commission extended the vote for a second time, giving Namibians until Saturday evening to
vote.

In the capital Windhoek, at the only polling station picked to reopen,
about 60 people showed up on Friday, including Kluivert Muuondjo who arrived at 4:30 am.

The 21-year-old student said he had waited in line until 11:
00 pm on Wednesday but left before being able to vote as he had exams the next
day.

The internet has been flooded with negative posts about the flick ever since it premiered, with one user branding it as a ‘bore’ and another claiming it
had ‘no plot.’

Many social media users have also slammed the movie’s final scene,
which saw main character Arthur Fleck (portrayed by Joaquin) brutally stabbed to death
by a fellow inmate.

This meant that the man that audiences had been watching over the
course of the two movies was never the Joker at all, but in fact,
the infamous villain from the Batman series was really just the random inmate who killed Arthur in the last moments of the
film.

The shocking twist left numerous viewers unsatisfied, and
they took to social media to share their frustration.

to the 2019 box office hit, which was simply titled Joker. 

The first film grossed over $1 billion and at the time was the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.
It received 11 Oscar nominations – two of which it won. 

The sequel, however, has already been much less successful.
It had a lackluster $40 million debut at the box office in its
first weekend, and has a low rating of 33 percent and 31 percent
on Rotten Tomatoes.

‘Undoing much of the goodwill from its predecessor, the sequel
convolutes what could have been a unique character study into a bloated encore that goes out
with a whimper,’ reads one review. 

Another critic wrote, ‘This movie is a disjointed
mess and a waste of time. It’s just tired,
not particularly interesting, but it does look good from a production design standpoint.’

and I would turn to one of them and we’d hear this crap and I’d go,
‘What the f*** is this?’ And they’d go, ‘This is going to bomb, man.’ I go,
‘This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen.’

‘We were talking about it at lunch, and we’d go,
‘What is the plot? Is there a plot? I don’t know, I think he falls in love with
her in the prison?’ It’s not even hate-watchable. That’s how terrible it is.’

Despite the negative reviews a number of fans of the
sequel took to social media after its release last month to defend the sequel to Todd Phillips’ 2019 motion picture.

The film debuted to a paltry $40 million at the domestic
box office, good enough for the weekend’s top spot, but less than projections, and
half that of its predecessor.

Amid the early returns, a number of fans took up for the movie and its cinematic depth, in breaking away from the cookie cutter nature of sequels to introduce a musical
element not present in the first film, with Lady Gaga joining
the franchise.

‘Joker 2 was amazing,’ one user said, adding that it was ‘100% as divisive as people are making it out to be.
I love that the film didn’t try to be a traditional sequel,
and fully committed to the storytelling they presented.
It never deviated to be a film full of Easter eggs or any other crowd pleasing
aspects.’

Another user said, ‘I kinda loved Joker 2. I loved how it was structured as a meta-exploration of the first film’s fandom and the musical elements were a lot of fun.’

in one of the biggest cases of its kind in the country that adds to mounting difficulties the German automaker faces.

Here is how India taxes automakers on imports and what Volkswagen allegedly did,
according to the government notice Reuters reported on Nov.
29.

Volkswagen has said it complies with local laws and is cooperating with Indian authorities.

HOW INDIA TAXES AUTOMOBILE IMPORTS?

* To encourage domestic manufacturing, India levies an import duty
of 35% on completely knocked-down units (CKDs) under which parts are
imported as a kit and assembled into cars in local factories.

* This compares to 100% duty on full vehicle imports, while
individual components needed in local manufacturing can be
imported at a rate of 5-15%.

WHAT DID VOLKSWAGEN ALLEGEDLY DO?

* Indian authorities allege Volkswagen evaded higher levies of 30-35% on CKDs by « mis-declaring and mis-classifying » imports as
« individual parts » that attract lower duties of 5-15%.

WHICH MODELS ARE AT THE HEART OF TAX EVASION?

* The allegations pertain to sales from Indian unit Skoda Auto Volkswagen. The models involved include Audi’s A4,
A6 sedan and Q5, Q7 SUVs, Skoda’s Octavia and Superb sedans and Kodiaq SUV, as well as VW’s Tiguan SUV.

* Indian authorities said more than 97% of the parts for these
cars are imported into India as individual components.

WHAT IS NADIN, THE SOFTWARE USED FOR VW IMPORTS?

* Based on projections from the sales teams, the carmaker uses internal procurement software called
NADIN to place orders for the cars, including the model specification and
colour, that are to be assembled locally, authorities allege.

* A second software programme ProCKD tracks and manages the inventory at
the carmaker’s India assembly plant, where the same
information is entered.

* Using the information entered into both programmes, an order is placed for
the required parts. NADIN breaks the order down into between 700 and 1,500 components required
to assemble a car.

* NADIN is connected to foreign suppliers of the three brands – Audi, Skoda, VW – in Germany,
the Czech Republic and Hungary. The suppliers sent the individual parts
to a « consolidation centre » for each brand
from whence it was shipped to India.

HOW WERE SO MANY PARTS MATCHED AND PUT TOGETHER?

* Components were stamped with unique identification numbers that helped the
production team at Indian factories to identify which part goes into which car.

* A 17-digit alpha-numeric number was used for vehicle identification. A separate 16-digit number was
used on some parts as an identifier to factory workers that
they should be assembled together.

HOW DID THESE IMPORTS REACH INDIA?

* The imports reached Indian ports as multiple consignments under multiple
invoices but all within three to seven consecutive days of each other.
The car body is supplied along with major components,
and the rest comes in different consignments to avoid detection, the authorities alleged.

* The company says this logistical model is adopted for efficiency,
but authorities said the carmaker « intentionally » used it

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani is on a three-day
state visit to the UK

Qatar’s emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani on Tuesday begins a
two-day state visit to Britain hosted by King Charles III as the
UK aims to seal a trade deal with the oil-rich Gulf states.

The visit by the emir, 44, and his consort, Sheikha Jawaher
bint Hamad Al Thani, will include a state banquet at Buckingham Palace and talks at Downing Street
with the country’s Labour Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The government, elected in July, is hoping to conclude
a free trade deal with the Gulf Cooperation Council’s six nations:
Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Starmer’s government has staked its credibility
on a pledge to grow the economy.

It says a GCC free trade deal could boost the UK economy by some £1.6
billion ($2 billion) and open up lucrative markets to British firms.

UK business minister Jonathan Reynolds recently described securing the deal as a « priority » for the Labour government.

The Qatari couple, who arrived Monday at Stansted airport east of London, will be greeted
by heir to the throne Prince William and his wife Catherine,
Princess of Wales, at their Kensington Palace residence in west London.

The royal party will then travel to Horse Guards Parade in central London where they will meet Charles, 76
and received a ceremonial welcome.

His wife Queen Camilla, 77, will miss the arrival due to the
lingering effects of a chest infection, Buckingham Palace said, but was due to attend other elements of the

Charles and the emir will inspect the guard of
honour before they take part in a carriage procession to Buckingham Palace where they will be met by a second
guard of honour.

Later Tuesday, the Qatari couple will view a special exhibition relating to

A billionaire couple have won the right to remove a single tree from
the driveway of their lavish $20million mansion after being blocked by their local council. 

Paul Holmes a Court, the son of Australia’s first billionaire Robert Holmes
a Court, and his wife Zara had been at loggerheads with their local council over a request to remove a single peppermint tree growing in the middle of their driveway.

The couple bought the four-bedroom mansion in the affluent, tree-lined suburb overlooking Perth’s Freshwater
Bay for $20.1million in August.

They wanted to remove the tree but the Shire of Peppermint Grove refused the request on the grounds the tree was not dead or deceased. 

‘We are very lucky to live here, but I have to say that the tree placement is
unusual,’ Ms Holmes a Court previously told a council
meeting. 

‘I’m quite a reasonable and rational person, but a
tree in the middle of the driveway makes it quite
tricky to reverse out.’

The couple enjoyed a breakthrough at a council meeting last week after an alternative motion was unanimously passed that allowed the tree to
be removed on the condition they paid a $2,500 bond before any work was done on the
driveway.

They will also need to plant two replacement trees on their property.

After the motion to remove the tree was passed at the meeting, councillor Douglas Jackson said it was a ‘good
outcome’.

‘I think it meets both the owners’ wants, or expectation, but also matches the
council’s needs at the same time by ensuring that there is tree cover on the verge of that property,’ he said.

Peppermint Grove is hoping to implement a policy that would even make
it an offence to damage or remove any mature trees on private
property without council approval.

Last month, WA Planning Minister John Carey said he hoped the
Shire of Peppermint Grove would ‘take a common sense approach’ to the issue.

‘This is part of the challenge that we do have with local government.
I’ve always been on the record that we need local governments to take a common sense approach to issues,’ Mr Carey told the West Australian. 

‘And I understand people are passionate about
trees. But ultimately, we do need local governments to assess the
situation and find pragmatic outcomes.’

According to the online listing for the four-bedroom, four-bathroom mansion – which is built on a corner block along

Anthony Albanese has tried to claim his relationship with
Alan Joyce was a strictly professional one between a Prime
Minister and a corporate titan, as he battles claims the Qantas boss was his ‘personal travel agent’ for free flights and upgrades.

However that characterization of the relationship was at
odds with that made by Mr Joyce, who said he was ‘good mates’ with Mr
Albanese and had been ‘for years’.

In the wake of the explosive claims that the Prime Minister had Mr Joyce
arrange free tickets and upgrades, Mr Albanese distanced himself from the Qantas chief.

When asked about about their relationship on Sunday Mr
Albanese implied it was purely in a professional capacity,
having been Transport Minister and shadow transport spokesperson before becoming Prime Minister. 

‘He (Joyce) was the CEO of the national airline … I had the
same relationship with him that I have with John Borghetti as the CEO of Virgin,’ Mr Albanese said.

That assessment was at odds with the many photos showing Mr
Albanese and Mr Joyce apparently greatly enjoying each other’s company. 

Mr Albanese and Mr Joyce were pictured in high spirits on the red carpet at the Qantas 100th
Gala Dinner in March last year.

In photos from the event, Mr Joyce proudly walks the red

and exclusive Chairman’s Lounge Mr Joyce
refused to confirm or deny but talked up his relationship with the Prime Minister.

‘I’ve been good mates with Albo for some time,’ Mr Joyce said. 

However, the then Qantas CEO refused to say whether he lobbied the Prime Minister on the controversial decision to
lock competitor Qatar Airways out of domestic routes.

It has since emerged in a new book about Qantas, The Chairman’s Lounge, by former
Australian Financial Review columnist Joe Aston that Ms Haydon is also
a Chairman’s Lounge member.

Reports have emerged in a new book Mr Albanese
received 22 upgrades from economy from Qantas and he
would liaise personally with the former airline boss for them. 

Aston also alleged Mr Albanese directly contacted Mr Joyce while in his various parliamentary jobs to ask
for special upgrades for himself or his family.

According to unnamed Qantas ‘insiders’ 11 of the 22 flights Mr Albanese
received upgrades for were ‘privately funded’ and included overseas trips to Rome, London, Los Angeles and Honolulu, with
some being for holidays.

Mr Albanese insisted on Tuesday that the London flights was
for work purposes and all were ‘declared in the appropriate
way’.    

Opposition Leader Peter Dutton has leapt on the accusations describing Mr Albanese
as being the ‘best friend’ of Mr Joyce. 

Mr Dutton told Sky News on Monday night it was ‘strange’ Mr Albanese had
directly contacted Mr Joyce to request upgrades while
holding a regulatory position in the transport sector.

‘If you’re the Transport Minister and you’re picking up the
phone to one of the most important stakeholders
in the portfolio asking for a free upgrade, then again, I think the Prime Minister
would be able to answer those questions more effectively than anyone else because I’m not aware of anyone else having done it,
‘ Mr Dutton said.

It has since emerged that Ms Haydon also has membership of the
Qantas Chairman’s Lounge

The Prime Minister denied frequently asking Mr Joyce for upgrades on Tuesday at press conference in the NSW
city of Newcastle.

‘The only discussions that I can recall with Alan Joyce certainly
were not discussed through calls – we discussed the first flight from Australia to Dubai on the A380,’ he said.

‘I’ve declared everything in accordance with all of
the rules.’

Aston was asked on Monday night by ABC interviewer Sarah Ferguson about
how confident he was that Mr Albanese had made calls personally to Mr Joyce for upgrades.

‘I am very comfortable with my sourcing,’ Aston said.

Asked whether he thought Mr Albanese had been influenced by Mr Joyce’s lobbying to block UAE airline Qatar domestically Aston said it was ‘implausible’ to think that the Prime Minister’s office had nothing
to do with the decision.

‘It’s very hard to imagine a decision of any political sensitivity in the Albanese government that would not go through

Catherine King speaking warmly about the proposal until ‘everything changed’
to stop it dead in tracks. 

 Ms King repeatedly denied in parliament the decision to block Qatar was due to Qantas lobbying her or any Labor colleagues.

Despite Mr Albanese claiming he declared every upgrade received from Qantas the Australian Financial Review reported on Tuesday that he failed to
do for his former wife Carmel Tebbutt when the two traveled
together.

It’s out of our reach,’ she said.

‘Can Albanese truly be impartial when it comes
to making decisions about Qantas when he’s been getting tens of thousands of dollars

as transport minister and prime minister under a cloud.

The sacking has since been ruled illegal by Federal Court in a
case brought by the union with Qantas facing possible hundreds of thousands in compensation payouts. 

The friendship however did find one perhaps unlikely defender in semi-retired 3AW radio star Neil
Mitchell. 

‘Quick test: upgrade Albo is a bad look,’ Mitchell wrote on X.

‘But does anybody believe he was seriously compromised
by having Alan Joyce as a bestie? Time to rewrite rules
governing politicians.’

Amid the early returns, a number of fans took up for the

element not present in the first film, with Lady Gaga joining the franchise.

reporter Richard Wilkins was also a member of lounge.

Wilkins had also been inside at the time and was his only witness to the remark Price said
Garrett had made.

Other prominent media figures, such as 60 Minutes reporters, actors and performers, and well-known writers and sports people are said
to be among the lounge’s exclusive membership of around 6000.

Price went on to defend himself for reporting what some claimed was a

‘Why on earth is Qantas giving a controversial shock jock
membership of its Chairman’s Lounge, which is supposedly
to enable our elite politicians and business leaders some privacy from the hoi polloi?’ demanded Crikey
reporter Stephen Mayne at the time.

‘The Chairman’s Lounge is meant to be all about discretion and
confidentiality,’ he said, accusing Price of breaking ‘a confidence’.

The following year, before he was succeeded as Qantas CEO by
Alan Joyce, Geoff Dixon was the sole gatekeeper of entry into
the club’s hushed confines.

Qantas Chairman’s Lounge membership was ‘so exclusive
that you have to be personally invited by the airline’s chieftain’, Nine newspapers reported in 2008.

‘A marvellous benefit of lounge membership is
that the mega rich and powerful avoid having to mingle with the riffraff who will be travelling cattle class.

‘Having said that, members of the ultra-exclusive club have included Pauline Hanson.

‘Another lounge member is Brad Cooper, who is currently enjoying a prolonged exposure to cattle-class in Kirkconnell Correctional Centre.’ (Cooper was the

The report noted that politicians declaring membership of the lounge ‘which most of their
spouses got too’ in their pecuniary interests that
year included Liberal MPs of the day, Philip Ruddock, Bob Baldwin and Andrew Southcott.

Labor MPs with lounge privileges included Tanya Plibersek, Bob McMullan, and Sharon Grierson,
and Martin Ferguson declared a bottle of Grange hermitage as a
gift from Qantas, as did Liberal, Christopher Pyne.

Asked if all MPs got the captain’s pick from Geoff Dixon, the airline’s spokesperson  told Nine: ‘We like to
retain a bit of mystery. Membership is by invitation only and it is reviewed periodically.’

Fast forward to today, and nearly every single federal politician in the country has accepted free membership of the
controversial, invitation-only lounge with one even describing it as an ‘entitlement’. 

Qantas and the Albanese government recently denied
the ‘very, very high-end perk’ gives the airline a disproportionate level of influence over
the country’s politicians.

They were commenting ahead of the launch of the new book The Chairman’s Lounge by former Australian Financial Review columnist Joe Aston,
which has stirred up the controversy. 

A Daily Mail Australia audit of the members’
interest registers – in both Federal Parliament’s House of Representatives and
the Senate – revealed almost 93 per cent of the nation’s leaders have been ‘gifted’ membership to the lavish, all-inclusive lounge.

Mr Albanese has defended himself by saying he declared all his benefits in pecuniary interest statements. 

At a press conference this week, he repeated that all of his upgrades ‘have been declared
as appropriate. What’s appropriate is transparency.’  

Apart from the PM, members include every one of his 22-person Cabinet,
his seven-person Outer Ministry and all 12 assistant ministers.

On the Coalition side of parliament, Opposition Leader Peter Dutton, deputy leader David Littleproud and former deputy
Barnaby Joyce are also among the swathes of politicians who have disclosed
they have taken up free membership to the contentious club.

Bill Shorten is a member, Tanya Plibersek is still a member and so is
Teal MP, Zali Steggall.

Last year it was reported that Australian Competition and Consumer
Commission chairwoman Gina Cass-Gottlieb and Australian Securities and Investments Commission chairman Joe Longo and some of their deputies are
members of the Chairman’s Lounge despite regulating
the airline. 

Senior public servants in the club included Department
of Prime Minister and Cabinet secretary Glyn Davis, deputy
secretaries Nadine Williams, Liz Hefren-Webb, Rachel Bacon and ambassador to Beijing, Scott Dewar.

Other Qantas freebies bestowed on members include numerous business class
flight upgrades, model Qantas aircrafts, frequent flyer points, and
tickets to sporting and entertainment events. 

Touted as ‘the most exclusive club in the country’, membership to the Chairman’s Lounge is still veiled in secrecy.

Even the entrances to each of the country’s six opulent VIP clubs –
in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Perth airports – are suitably discreet.

Once inside, however, the designer lounges are noticeably luxurious, with free à la
carte fine dining, table service, a decadent selection of wines and
Champagne and a discreet army of dedicated lounge attendants.

Virgin Airlines has its own version of the VIP
enclave, the ‘Beyond’ lounge. 

Only a handful of federal politicians have relinquished their membership to the Qantas Chairman’s
Lounge in the wake of the furore.

The select few to take a principled stand on the issue include South Australian senator Barbara Pocock and former Wallabies star turned ACT senator David Pocock, along with MPs Stephen Bates, Queensland Green Elizabeth
Watson-Brown, and Monique Ryan, a Teal from Victoria.

Geoffrey Watson SC, a former counsel assisting the Independent Commission Against Corruption and
a director of the Centre for Public Integrity, has implored
all politicians and policymakers to follow suit.

‘There are certain positions in life where you cannot take Chairman’s Club
membership,’ he said.

‘You’re taking public money for the job and you are supposed to represent the public.
Why not sit with them while you’re waiting for a plane?’

As waves of loud, car-sized mystery drones continue to buzz over New Jersey, one family
reported that the craft changed time on their car’s
clock.

The family of Morris County locals said they were
following one of these seemingly terrestrial UFOs in their vehicle, only to experience the odd
effect on their car’s electronics as the unexplained craft ‘hovered above
them.’

‘The clock in their car changed time,’ according to one Fox News reporter who spoke to the unnamed family.
‘They say the clock went back to normal after they drove off.’

While local law enforcement in Morris County has issued a statement asserting that ‘there is
no known threat to public safety’ at this time — the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a ban on drone
flights over sensitive areas in state.

Last Tuesday, the FBI described the sightings as only ‘possible drones’ and ‘a possible
fixed wing aircraft’ in its efforts to get to the bottom of the night flights.

But residents within the eight-and-counting New Jersey counties where the
strange craft have been sighted are also taking matters into their own hands with over 17,000 trading notes on the sightings in a dedicated Facebook group. 

One local software engineer, who specializes in radio communications, believes the temporary alteration of the car’s clock is a clue to the origin of these mystery drones.

‘Many newer cars get their clock time from GPS satellites since that’s one of the most
accurate time signals you’re going to get in a vehicle,
‘ the engineer, Rich Dunajewski, posted to the Facebook group. 

‘If these are using GPS jamming or spoofing,’ Dunajewski
explained, ‘then it’s plausible the car would follow the signal
and change the clock to match whatever signal is coming from the drone/plane.’

The flying objects are larger than drones used by
hobbyists, raising questions about their proximity to specific locations – including to President-elect Donald Trump ‘s Bedminster golf course, US military research facility Picatinny Arsenal and critical infrastructure, police said

Residents within the eight-and-counting New Jersey counties where the strange craft have

‘So don’t think aliens,’ the engineer continued, ‘think foreign actors using electronic warfare methods.’

Dunajewski noted that GPS spoofing onboard these mysterious
aircraft would also explain the car clock’s return to normal time.

‘Once you’re out of range of the spoofed GPS signal, the clock will reacquire the real GPS signal with the correct time,’
he said in his Facebook post.

While some locals are not buying it, with one saying, ‘We need to accept that these are not just « drones, » these are UFO/UAP,’ other experts did agree with Dunajewski.  

A contractor with the FAA’s Office of Communications, David Lombardo, cosigned the ‘radar jamming or GPS spoofing’
theory, writing: ‘It’s very likely that these drones have some sort of electronic interference capabilities.’

While Lombardo said he did not believe that ‘the FBI wouldn’t get involved
if a bunch of drones were just pissing people off,’ the FAA contractor also confessed that he currently saw
no evidence actual law-breaking yet. 

‘Nothing that these drones have done appears to be criminal or really against
any rules, so far as I know. I mean, they’re being weird…
there’s no crime in being weird.’

But retired police lieutenant Tim McMillan argued that
the drones fit a pattern of Russian psychological warfare operations internationally.

Lt McMillan reported that both the mysterious drone flights over
New Jersey mirror a 2022 incident in which drones flew over sensitive sites in Sweden just as the European nation was
considering joining NATO. 

‘This recent drone wave is likely in response to the West green lighting
Ukraine to use ATACMS inside Russia,’ the retired
police investigator posted to X.

Pentagon official reveals seven-minute encounter with

Last month, the Biden White House granted the Ukrainian military permission to unleash American-made Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) across the Russian border — allowing them to strike military targets up to a range of 186 miles.

The anonymous family who reported their car clock’s reaction to this eerie and unexplained aircraft
were just some of the new witnesses to speak to Fox News about
this ongoing wave of UFO sightings.

One eyewitness told the network that they saw a ‘parade’ of the drones, some as big as compact
cars, roaring over the sky in procession.  

‘The drones just keep coming,’ another witness said, ‘one after
another.’

While the FAA has taken the most direct action suggesting
malicious intent, prohibiting drone flights over Trump’s golf
club until last Friday and above Picatinny Arsenal until
December 26, other officials have been more cautious in their language.

Law enforcement officials in Morris and Somerset counties issued a joint statement describing the extent of their collaboration on this ongoing investigation.

‘The subject County Prosecutor’s, Sheriff’s and Emergency Management Offices, our respective municipal police departments, working in close cooperation with the FBI-Newark, the New Jersey
State Police and The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness, seek to reassure the public that we will continue to monitor and investigate the drone activity,’ the two county’s Sheriff’s Offices said.

Post to social media site X, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy echoed similar words
to calm the public. 

‘I convened a briefing with [Biden’s Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas] @SecMayorkas,
senior officials from [the Department of Homeland Security] @DHSgov … and members
of our congressional delegation to discuss reported drone activity over parts of North and Central New Jersey,’
he wrote.

‘There is no known threat to the public at this time,’ the governor said.

Nevertheless, New Jersey residents have been encouraged to report any sightings, videos or photos they
may have of the UFO drone flights to the FBI, via phone at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324) or online via tips@fbi.gov.

Five years after the first film, he has returned to the Oscar-winning role again in Joker: Folie a Deux – and says that he had to lose almost the
same amount of weight once more, and is never doing it again (Seen left before filming in 2018 and right after)

‘But this time, it felt a bit more complicated just because there was so much dance rehearsal that we were doing,
which I didn’t have last time,’ Joaquin said
of the weight loss this time round 

Joaquin’s weight loss for the first film somewhat ‘obsessed’ with his
weight where he also developed a ‘disorder’ over pounds (Seen left in the
first film and right ahead of filming)

He added that his co-star Lady Gaga, real name Stephanie Germanotta ‘wanted to sing live and I did not.
In the end, every part of the recording
was live.’ 

Gaga said: ‘The way music is used is to give characters a way to express themselves because the dialogue is not enough.’ 

She had to forget her professional training: ‘It
was about unlearning technique and forgetting how to breathe.’

Director Todd Phillips said that he felt the pressure after
the success of The Joker. 

He said: ‘I’m more nervous of this one than the first
one. The first one we were under the radar, this one everyone was writing on the internet about
it.’

The Warner Bros film is released on October 4th.

After the release of the first film, Joaquin shut down rumours he only ate an apple a day to achieve his astonishing weight loss, telling Access Hollywood
that he consumed more food than that  ⁠— though not much more.  

‘It wasn’t an apple a day. No, you’ve also got lettuce and steamed green beans,’ he said of
what he ate in preparation for the role. 

The actor previously admitted that ‘you start to go mad
when you lose that amount of weight in that amount of time’

While speaking with Access Hollywood, Joaquin explained he consulted with a
doctor to ensure he lost weight as safely as possible

Although Joaquin has lost weight for roles before, he admitted that ‘Joker’ director
Todd Phillips didn’t make it easy on him. 

The Her star recalled how the producer always had the one food item he craved on hand, which made his diet a bit more of a struggle. 

‘Todd did have these f*****g pretzels that I love. And he’d just have bags of them in his office!’ he said.

‘And that was difficult.’ 

Joaquin’s character is wearyingly thin in the film, and he admitted that he had reservations about taking on such a drastic weight loss. 

‘It’s a horrible way to live,’ he told the New York Times.
‘I think [the Joker] should be kind of heavy. Todd was like, ‘I think
you should do the real thin person. »

Joaquin previously said his extreme diet helped him
prepare for the role in more ways than one. 

‘The first thing for us was the weight loss — I think that’s really what I started with,
‘ he said of working with the film’s director. 

‘And, as it turns out, that then affects your psychology.
You start to go mad when you lose that amount of weight
in that amount of time.’
