Le 26 décembre 2023, l’unité de cyber patrouilleurs de la Dsc avait constaté sur les réseaux sociaux une vidéo montrant un homme entouré de jeunes enfants, qui exhibait un couteau à l’endroit de l’un d’une jeune fille.
Les investigations effectuées avaient permis de localiser le lieu de prise de la scène à Ouest-Foire, dans un « Daara » dénommé «Tafsirztoul Amann».
D’après les informations de Libération, il a reconnu les faits, expliquant son geste comme un moyen «d’apeurer la jeune fille qui passait son temps à jouer au lieu de se concentrer à la maîtrise des incantations ».
Poursuivant, il a juré que les sévices corporels sont formellement interdits par son employeur encore moins l’utilisation d’armes. Il s’est confondu en excuses soutenant n’avoir jamais usé de tels moyens auparavant.
A signaler que la perquisition effectuée sur les lieux a permis de retrouver le couteau de cuisine exhibé par Souleymane Cham qui a été placé en garde à vue le même jour.
