Avant l’expiration des 8 jours qui suivent l’installation des députés de l’Assemblée nationale, les membres du gouvernement de Macky Sall ont fait leur choix entre leur poste au sein du gouvernement et celui de député à l’Assemblée nationale.
Après ceux nommés ministres par le président Macky Sall lors du dernier remaniement, qui ont été remplacés par leurs suppléants, le journal « Les Echos » renseigne que Pape Demba Biteye, Directeur général de la Senelec, va conserver ce poste et laisser celui de député à l’Assemblée nationale.
A l’hémicycle, il sera remplacé par son suppléant sur la liste, Ahmed Youssouph Bengelloune.
