Les communes de Goudiry et Bala ont été, dans la nuit du lundi au mardi, visitées par des bandits. Des malfrats lourdement armés et bien encagoulés ont fait irruption dans des commerces et maisons pour dépouiller les populations. Ils ont grièvement blessé un individu et réussi à emporter avec eux, dans leur fuite, plusieurs millions et un véhicule d’une société de la place. La gendarmerie, qui est à leurs trousses, promet de démanteler le gang.
Le département de Goudiry renoue-t-il avec les agressions ? En tout cas, dans la nuit du lundi au mardi, aux environs de 3h du matin, des coups de feu nourris ont réveillé les populations. Il s’agissait d’une attaque à main armée. Les délinquants ont d’abord visité la localité de Bala avant de rallier Goudiry. Ils ont réussi à dévaliser des boutiques et emporté un grand magot. Un commerçant dit avoir été délesté de 5 millions. C’est par la suite qu’ils se sont déplacés à Goudiry. Ils se sont attaqués à une maison où logent des membres d’une société. «Ils ont défoncé les portes malgré les cris d’alerte des occupants des lieux.
Pour intimider les populations et les tenir hors des lieux, ils ont appuyé sur leurs gâchettes», raconte Chérif Sow, une victime. «Des coups de feu ont été tirés, renchérit-il. Quand j’ai aperçu la bande d’individus encagoulés et bien armés, j’ai tout de suite alerté les voisins. Mais cela n’a pas semblé les intimider outre mesure. Nous avons ensuite lancé des cris d’alerte. Ça n’a servi à rien. La bande décidée, grimpe alors le mur.
Nous nous sommes terrés dans nos chambres. N’empêche, ils ont tout défoncé. Comme pour me punir de mon acte, ils se sont rués sur moi. J’ai reçu plusieurs coups de coupe-coupe, montre-t-il, exhibant tout son corps. Les blessures laissées par les coupe-coupe sont encore visibles sur le corps meurtri. Ils m’ont aussi roué de coups. Ils ont visité toutes les chambres et dépouillé tout le monde. Ils ont par la suite saisi les clés et emporté avec eux la voiture 4×4 garée devant la maison. Elle appartient à une société, a précisé le chauffeur lui aussi malmené. Ils ont emporté tout ce qu’ils ont pu avec eux.»
Informée, la gendarmerie n’a pas tardé à rallier les lieux. Mais, les bandits avaient déjà pris la clé des champs à l’aide du véhicule volé. Les Pandores ont ouvert une enquête et promis de mettre la main sur les bandits qui sont encore dans la nature. «Nous travaillons à les retrouver et nous sommes sur une bonne piste», a rassuré un haut gradé. En attendant, le Boundou retient son souffle en cette veille de Tabaski.
