Elle sera punie par un écart difficile à rattraper pour elle, 7 buts ! Une deuxième défaite synonyme d’élimination pour les quarts de finale.
La RDC et l’Angola, avec deux victoires sont qualifiés pour le second tour avant le dernier match de poule qui les opposera. Sur les 13 équipes participantes, seul le groupe D compte 4 équipes. Selon le règlement de la compétition, les deux premières équipes de chaque groupe passent au second tour.
Pour un handball masculin en reconstruction au Sénégal, ce serait déjà une bonne note de remporter le dernier match de groupe prévu demain. Ce sera un duel entre deux éliminés, le Sénégal et la Zambie qui ont perdu tous les deux leurs matchs. Et disputeront les matchs de classement.
