Invité des rédactions du Groupe E-Media, ce jeudi 23 novembre, le président de la Coalition Gadio 2024 a donné quelques points saillants de son programme. Dr Cheikh Tidiane Gadio a fait un diagnostic du secteur de l’Education. «On est dans l’échec», a-t- il constaté.
D’ailleurs, a-t-il rappelé, «en 2012, on m’a- vait proposé le poste de ministre de l’Éducation. Je ne l’avais pas décliné parce que je doutais de mes capacités à pouvoir relever le défi. Si j’ai refusé, et je l’ai dit au Président Macky Sall, c’est parce que depuis les indépendances jusqu’à présent, on ne parvient pas à régler le problème de l’Éducation».
Pour le Président du mouvement panafricain citoyen Luy Jot Jotna, «la seule raison, c’est le fait d’avoir saucissonné le département pour, de façon politicienne, avoir trois postes ministériels à pourvoir». Or, dit-il, «je vois un seul grand département de l’Education qu’on doit diviser en sous-départements (Enseignement supérieur, recherches, formation professionnelle, etc.)», explique le Vice- Président de l’Assemblée nationale.
L’ancien ministre des Affaires étrangères préconise, par conséquent, «qu’un seul homme occupe le fauteuil» pour «gérer toute l’Education», et mettre en œuvre une seule vision. Il a donné l’exemple de la France où «un million d’employés dans le ministère de l’Éducation sont dirigés par un seul ministre», appuyé par ses collaborateurs dont des Secrétaires d’État.
