La communauté chiite commémore «l’Arbaïn» ou 40ème jour de l’assassinat de Hussein. A la veille de l’évènement prévu ce samedi, une journée de don de sang a été organisée par la communauté au siège de l’institut Mozdahir. Une occasion pour le guide chiite de préconiser l’utilisation des évènements religieux pour collecter du sang et résoudre le problème des déficits au niveau des établissements sanitaires du pays.
En prélude la commémoration de «l’Arbaïn» qui marque le quarantième jour après le massacre de Karbala, la communauté chiite du Sénégal a tenu à marquer l’évènement par une journée de don de sang, hier vendredi, avant les activités prévues ce samedi. Ce don de sang marque le sacrifice de l’imam Hussein pour sauver l’Islam, selon le guide chiite. «Comme l’imam Hussein a donné sa vie pour sauver l’Islam, nous pensons que donner du sang pour sauver des vies est une bonne action», a dit Mouhamed Aly Aïdara.
A cette occasion, le chef de la communauté chiite Mozdahir, s’est prononcé pour apporter des pistes de solution face à l’équation des pénuries de poches de sang. La solution, pour le chef religieux, pourrait être trouvée à travers les grands évènements religieux du pays qui peuvent être des prétextes pour organiser des dons de sang, avec l’implication des guides suprêmes des différentes communautés religieuses, comme à l’occasion du Magal, des Gamou et autres, sans oublier les autres confessions. «Face aux besoins énormes en poches de sang, la convergence de plusieurs milliers de fidèles peut être une opportunité pour organiser des dons de sang, récolter beaucoup de poches et mettre définitivement un terme aux ruptures de sang fréquentes dans les établissements sanitaires du pays.»
«C’est dommage parce que moi j’aurais aimé voir toutes les personnes qui ont des partisans ou des gens qui les écoutent, faire des initiatives comme ça pour donner du sang. Nos frères dans les hôpitaux en ont besoin, ils sont en souffrance. Donc leur venir en aide est une obligation pour tout croyant. Aujourd’hui, nous faisons ce don à Dakar, mais on sait que dans des endroits comme Touba on en a besoin aujourd’hui avec tous ces accidents. Je pense que c’est valable à travers tout le pays. L’idéal serait qu’à chaque évènement religieux important qu’on puisse programmer aussi un don de sang. Normalement, nos hôpitaux ne devraient pas manquer de sang au Sénégal», a préconisé le guide de la communauté chiite Mozdahir.
Selon le guide, l’autoflagellation pratiquée par cette communauté ne fait pas partie des enseignements du Prophète (PSL). Pour autant, il ne condamne pas ceux qui s’y adonnent car c’est une façon pour eux d’exprimer leur ressenti. «Ce n’est pas dans les enseignements authentiques de l’Islam. C’est des ressentis et chaque personne à sa façon d’exprimer le mal qu’il ressent ; donc je me garde de porter un jugement sur leur choix. Nous on a choisi de suivre les enseignements de notre Prophète», a-t-il dit.
Au nom du ministère de la Santé, le Dr Ousseynou Badiane, qui s’est soumis à l’exercice du don de sang, a magnifié la journée qui contribue à résorber le gap de sang dans les hôpitaux du pays. «Les structures sanitaires sont souvent confrontées à problème de disponibilité de sang et le fait de donner du sang peut participer à réduire ce déficit-là. C’est quelque chose qu’il faut encourager, chaque fois que l’occasion se présente si les gens peuvent donner du sang qu’ils puissent le faire pouvoir sauver des vies», a souligné Dr Badiane. La journée de l’Arbaïn est prévue ce samedi et sera marquée par des causeries religieuses et des prières à la mémoire des martyrs de Karbala.
