La cérémonie symbolique de remise des prix aux lauréats du challenge « Sétal Sunu Gox » lancé dans le cadre de la 7 édition de la journée nationale de mobilisation citoyenne « Sétal Sunu Reew », a été paraphée ce vendredi à Thiès.
Ainsi, le ministre de l’Urbanisme, des Collectivités territoriales et de l’Aménagement des territoires, Balla Moussa Fofana, a remis le premier prix au quartier Cité Lamy, ainsi qu’aux deux autres quartiers occupant respectivement la deuxième et la troisième place, à savoir le quartier Diokoul Ndiourène de Rufisque et le village de Taïba Niassène, dans la Commune de Taïba Niassène (département de Nioro).
Après avoir annoncé la forte récompense aux lauréats, le ministre en charge de l’urbanisme est revenu sur le sens de cette initiative en indiquant qu’il s’agit d’une journée qui consiste à promouvoir les quartiers les plus propres et les meilleures initiatives à travers une mobilisation de toutes les forces vives de la nation en faveur de la prise en charge du cadre de vie ».
« La gestion de nos espaces communs demeure une priorité pour forger l’image de nos villes, conformément aux objectifs de l’agenda de transformation systémique… Cette consécration n’est pas seulement un prix, c’est la reconnaissance de vos efforts et de votre passion pour votre quartier. Ensemble, nous ferons de Cité Lamy un véritable laboratoire d’innovations et de développement durable », a-t-il ajouté.
