Ce samedi au stadium Iba Mar Diop, à l’issue des 2 demies-finales de la Coupe du Sénégal, le Diamono HBC et Disso HBC, deux équipes de la localité de Guédiawaye, sont parvenues à décrocher les 2 tickets pour la finale, en s’imposant devant l’Olympique de Diourbel (26-18) et ISEG Sport (31-30). Ce sera une revanche pour Diamono battu en demi-finale de championnat par Disso.
Comme on se retrouve, entre Diamono et Disso, presque un an après la finale du championnat édition 2021 et une semaine après la demi-finale de l’exercice 2022, les 2 équipes de la grande mégapole dakaroise de Guediawaye, vont se retrouver pour la finale de la Coupe du Sénégal 2022. Les 2 finalistes ont acquis ce droit, après leurs victoires sur les Diourbeloises et les Étudiantes.
Six jours après avoir perdu sa demi-finale de championnat face à Disso, Diamono faisait face à l’Olympique de Diourbel dans le cadre du dernier carré de la Coupe du Sénégal. La bande à Sokhna Ndoye se frottait à celle de Rokhy Dione pour décrocher le premier ticket pour la finale. Les Banlieusardes comptaient enchaîner un 3e succès devant les Baol-Baol, qui espéraient stopper l’hémorragie après 2 revers face à leurs adversaires.
Après qu’Awa Saer Seck ouvre les hostilités pour Diamono (1-0), l’Olympique de Diourbel va réagir et mener même à la marque (1-3, 2-4, 3-4). Les protégées de Moussa Sy, sous la houlette de Sokhna Ndoye, vont égaliser (4-4), puis mener la danse (5-4, 6-4, 7-4), avant de se détacher (10-6, 11-6). Mais, dans leur temps fort, les partenaires de Rokhy Dione vont se rebiffer pour recoller à moins 2 à la pause (12-10).
Dès la reprise, la formation du quartier Ndiarème de Guédiawaye va accentuer la marque (15-11, 17-11), pour ne plus se faire menacer par l’adversaire et filer tranquillement vers la finale (26-18). Grâce à Sokhna Ndoye comme d’habitude (11 réalisations), l’épatante Mame Saï Dione (4 buts) et Awa Cissé créditée d’une grosse partie dans les buts, Diamono décroche une seconde finale de rang, après celle perdue en championnat en 2021.
L’autre ticket se jouait lors de la seconde demi-finale, opposant Disso à l’ISEG Sport, pour un avant-goût de la finale du championnat national qui se jouera le samedi prochain (25 juin). Après 2 rencontres disputées en championnat dans le cadre de la poule A, les 2 formations s’opposaient pour une 3ème fois. Pour cette Belle, ce sont les filles de Chérif Tall qui démarrent mieux la rencontre, menant 3 à 0, grâce à Maimouna Diouf, Marième Ly et Aissatou Mané. L’ISEG réduit le score par Tidda Konté (3-1).
Les Tenantes du titre vont accentuer la marque (4-2, 6-2), puis le score valsait entre 2 et 3 points en faveur Disso (7-5, 9-7, 11-8). À 11 à 9, la pluie s’invite à la fête, l’arbitre arrête la partie, le temps que les ondées s’estompent et les 2 équipes reviennent sur l’aire de jeu. La mi-temps sera sifflée sur le score de 17 à 15. De retour des vestiaires, ISEG inflige un 2-0 à son adversaire pour égaliser à 17 partout, mais les partenaires d’Astou Mbaye vont reprendre l’avantage (20-17, 21-18) puis vont même mener jusqu’à 5 points (23-18). Mais grâce à Astou Ndiaye, les Bleues vont réduire la marque à moins 3 à un moment de la partie (27-24).
Alors que Disso s’est retrouvé avec 3 joueuses sur le terrain du fait de 3 pénalités de 2 minutes, l’ISEG ne sut pas profiter de l’aubaine et encaissa 2 buts pour voir l’excellente gardienne adverse Fama Sall, enrayer 5 de ses attaques. Cependant, Ma Anta Bathily (5 buts) et ses partenaires vont revenir à un point à une minute de la fin (30-29).
En possession de la balle, l’ISEG va gâcher l’opportunité d’égaliser à 30 partout, en se faisant chipper l’objet par la rusée Aissatou Mané qui va s’en aller porter l’estocade à l’adversaire (31-29). La réplique d’Oumou Sow fut tardive (31-30) et Disso s’adjugea le second billet pour la finale, où il retrouvera Diamono pour un Remake. Les 14 réalisations d’Aissatou Mané ont été décisives dans la victoire des Tenantes du titre.
