Le Front démocratique pour une élection inclusive (FDPEI) a déposé ce lundi à la Cour suprême un recours en annulation du décret convoquant le corps électoral pour le scrutin du 24 mars prochain.
Selon leur porte-parole, du jour, Mamadou Diop Decroix, « il n’y aura pas d’élection ». Pour lui »si l’élection présidentielle se tient dans ces conditions ce serait un simulacre d’élection ».
« Nous venons de déposer notre requête devant la cour suprême pour contester ce décret qui trahit la loi électorale.
Le président de la république devait se conformer à l’esprit de cette loi. Nous ne pouvons pas laisser cette forfaiture. Nous avons invité la cour suprême à annuler ce décret. Si jamais nous partons dans ces conditions au vote, dites vous que c’est un simulacre d’élections. Nous ne sommes pas d’accord.
Il ne s’agit pas d’aller coûte que coûte vers une élection qui est, à la base biaisée », a déclaré Mamadou Diop Decroix.
Selon lui, »l’urgence devrait être au moins, la convocation des députés pour revoir la loi et ensuite fixer un délai qui serait en ce moment, conforme à la loi votée par la représentation nationale ».
