La baisse du secteur secondaire est en relation avec le recul de l’activité dans la quasi-totalité des sous-secteurs tels que le raffinage du pétrole et cokéfaction (-88,8%) sous l’effet des travaux de maintenance de la SAR2 , les activités extractives (-15,4%), la fabrication de produits chimiques de base (-14,7%), la fabrication de produits agroalimentaires (-10,9%) et la fabrication de ciment et d’autres matériaux de construction (-7,3%).
S’agissant de la baisse de la valeur ajoutée du secteur tertiaire, elle est due à la contreperformance des sous-secteurs des services d’hébergement et de restauration (-41,5%) et des activités financières et d’assurance (-0,5%). Cependant, la baisse de la valeur ajoutée du secteur a été atténuée, notamment, par la progression des activités domestiques (+3,1%), des autres activités de services (+3,0%) et des activités immobilières (+1,9%). En ce qui concerne le secteur primaire, il est noté une hausse de la valeur ajoutée de 3,7%.
Cette augmentation est consécutive aux performances des secteurs de l’agriculture (+5,1%) ainsi que de l’élevage (+1,3%) et de la sylviculture (+0,8%), dans une moindre mesure. En revanche, le sous-secteur de la pêche s’est contracté de 2,2%. Cette contraction de l’activité du sous-secteur de la pêche est imputable à la diminution des débarquements de la pêche industrielle en quantité (-1,2%).
Sous l’angle de la demande, il est noté un accroissement de 0,5%, en variation trimestrielle, de la consommation finale et un repli de la Fbcf (-0,7%). Les importations et les exportations de biens et services se sont contractées respectivement de 0,4% et de 6,3% en variation trimestrielle.
