Poursuivant, Pape Songdé Diop a évoqué le rôle de la culture dans le cadre du développement des collectivités territoriales. Et compte miser sur certains arts dont le 7ème art pour rendre visible ce que sa commune a comme potentialités. Par ricochet, la formation des jeunes constitue l’une des priorités du maire.
L’initiatrice du festival, Fatou Jupiter Touré, est revenue pour sa part sur les missions de son organisation relative à la professionnalisation du secteur et la décentralisation de ses activités…
