Le mandataire de la Coalition Yewi Askan Wi a haussé le ton ce mercredi. Selon Déthié Fall, ce que le régime au pouvoir a entrepris pour briser des leaders de l’opposition est voué à l’échec. Face à la presse, il a affirmé que la condamnation avec sursis dont il fait l’objet ne peut « nullement constituer une barrière pour l’empêcher de faire face au régime qu’il qualifie « d’oppresseur ».
« En tentant de nous museler ou de nous briser, Macky Sall et son régime ont involontairement renforcé notre détermination, nos convictions, et notre engagement auprès de la population. Six (6) mois, deux (2), ou sept (7) ans de condamnation, une chose est claire, je ne serai jamais en sursis dans ce Sénégal. Aucune pression ne peut freiner ma démarche et ma détermination. Je suis encore prêt à retourner en prison s’il le faut », a déclaré Déthié Fall.
