« Le commissaire Sarr m’a dit qu’il ne peut pas me laisser entrer. Quand je lui ai demandé les raisons, il m’a rétorqué que c’est la seule chose qu’il pouvait me dire alors qu’on a même vu d’autres mandataires avoir accès aux lieux », a déclaré le parlementaire devant les journalistes.
Selon lui, la DGE fait dans le « dilatoire afin de faire gagner du temps à l’Etat du Sénégal ». En tout état de cause, le mandataire du leader de l’ex parti Pastef promet de ne jamais renoncer à leur droit. « Nous allons nous battre judiciairement et politiquement pour que le droit de Ousmane Sonko à être candidat soit respecté », dit-il.
