L’élection présidentielle de février prochain sera certainement un saut dans l’inconnu pour bon nombre de candidats. Qui, pour la première fois vont prendre part à cette phase décisive de leur carrière politique.
Pour certains parmi les candidats déclarés, ce sera leur première participation à une élection présidentielle. Une première entrée en lice qui, sans doute, va susciter des passions. Dans la liste des 20, presque tous les 18 sont des novices.
Seuls les leaders de Rewmi et de Tekki, Idrissa Seck et Mamadou lamine Diallo ont vécu l’expérience de l’élection Présidentielle.
Après 2007, 2012 et 2019, l’ancien Premier ministre de Wade sera ce 25 février à sa quatrième tentative de conquête du pouvoir. Mamadou Lamine Diallo, lui sera à sa deuxième après celle de 2007.
Hormis les deux, tous les suivants (18 candidats) dans la liste vivront pour la première fois une expérience d’une élection présidentielle.
Ces novices comme on les appelle seront attendus à tous les niveaux. Eu égard, le nouveau leadership qu’ils incarnent dans le Landerneau politique Sénégalais. Avec certains, l’on constate dans les discours et autres éléments de langage une nouvelle méthode de faire la politique. Ils appellent à une rupture totale avec l’establishment politique actuel.
Ceux-là dont les discours et paroles ont trouvé écho favorable chez une bonne frange de la population seront très bien attendus. Leurs discours et programmes seront scrupuleusement passés à la loupe par les électeurs.
Ainsi, les dés sont pipés à 35 jours du scrutin présidentiel.
A cet égard, la direction générale des élections(DGE) a, ce dimanche, convoqué les mandataires des candidats. Ces représentants sont appelés à déposer les maquettes de bulletin de vote. Comme pour dire que c’est une nouvelle étape vers la présidentielle qui commence.
