La députée Mame Diarra Fam a comparu, ce 27 juin, pour répondre des délits de participation à un rassemblement illicite et attroupement non armé. Devant la barre des flagrants délits du tribunal de grande instance de Dakar, la responsable politique de l’inter-coalition Yaw/Wallu est revenue sur son arrestation le 17 juin dernier. Elle a préalablement rejeté toutes les charges retenues contre elle.
« Je partais voir Barthélémy Dias chez lui. Je n’ai participé à une quelconque manifestation, sinon je ne me ferai jamais fait accompagner par mes deux (2) fils qui revenaient fraîchement d’Italie et qui ne comprennent pas le wolof pour les faire participer à des attroupements », a expliqué Mame Diarra Fam.
« Lorsque je me suis présentée à la ruelle qui mène chez Barthélémy Dias, il y avait un premier cordon sécuritaire, j’ai présenté ma carte professionnelle de député aux gendarmes qui m’ont laissé passer avant que je n’aperçoive après avoir passé le second cordon, Barthélémy Dias qui était sur sa terrasse. Je lui ai tendu la main pour lui demander de m’ouvrir la porte », a déclaré devant la cour la libérale. Mame Diarra Fam s’est, devant le juge, indignée de son traitement par les forces de défense et de sécurité.
« Les forces de défense et de sécurité m’ont bousculée pour m’arrêter. En tant que parlementaire, j’ai été jetée dans un fourgon de la gendarmerie sans aucun respect et aucune considération. Lorsque les faits se déroulaient, il y’a un de mes fils qui me demandait en italien ce qui était en train de se passer », a raconté la députée.
Interpellée par le procureur sur sa connaissance de la manifestation interdite et les incidents notés à la devanture du domicile de Barthélémy Dias, Mame Diarra Fam relativise. « Oui, j’étais au courant de la manifestation interdite, par contre, je ne sais pas s’il y’avait des incidents chez Barthélémy, mais je sais juste que la manifestation devait se tenir à la place de l’Obélisque », a-t-elle répondu avant d’enchaîner. « M. le président, il faut qu’on se dise la vérité, dans ce pays les gens ont des proches, des amis, des sympathisants et il faut qu’on leur rende visite », a confié Mame Diarra Fam.
Interpellée par ses conseils si le fait de rendre visite à Barthélémy Dias était un délit, la députée a répondu par la négative et entend d’ailleurs repartir, dès que possible, voir celui qu’elle perçoit comme son fils.
« À ce que je sache, rien ne m’interdit d’aller voir Barthélémy Dias et si je ressors d’ici, la première chose que je ferai, c’est de repartir voir Barthélemy », a-t-elle conclu en réaffirmant son appartenance au groupe parlementaire des libéraux et démocrates et partisane du Pds.
