Depuis la qualification des Lions au Mondial, fin mai dernier, Aliou Cissé ne touche plus son salaire de sélectionneur du Sénégal. L’Etat, son employeur, n’est pas dans l’impossibilité de lui verser sa paie. Chaque mois, les 15 millions net qu’il lui doit, sont virés sur son compte. C’est le technicien qui a volontairement choisi de ne pas y puiser.
D’après Record, qui donne l’information dans son édition de ce mardi, Aliou Cissé adopte cette attitude en attendant une clarification de sa situation contractuelle et, par conséquent, du montant de ses émoluments. Le sélectionneur des Lions considérant, selon le journal, qu’à partir du moment où il a atteint les objectifs qui lui ont été fixés, depuis le 29 mai et la qualification pour le Mondial 2022, il doit bénéficier de nouvelles conditions salariales.
Certes, le contrat d’Aliou Cissé court jusqu’en 2023. Mais la Fédération sénégalaise de football, son «utilisateur», lui avait fixé comme objectif d’atteindre la finale de la CAN 2021 et de qualifier les Lions au prochain Mondial. L’ancien capitaine du Sénégal a fait mieux. Car, en plus du billet pour Qatar 2022, il a décroché le premier titre continental du pays.
Le journal Record rapporte que pour éviter de donner l’impression d’accepter la prolongation de son contrat dans les mêmes termes qu’avant la qualification au Mondial, Aliou Cissé a décidé d’ignorer son salaire. Le quotidien sportif informe qu’il attend une rencontre et de nouvelles propositions de la FSF.
Toutefois, la même source signale que l’Etat (tutelle et FSF) est partant pour une revalorisation du salaire du meilleur entraîneur d’Afrique en 2022.
