L’ancien international camerounais, Samuel Eto’o, ambassadeur du Qatar Coupe du monde 2022 et une délégation du Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy effectuent une visite, mardi et mercredi au Sénégal.
Cette visite qui concerne également le Cameroun et le Ghana, les pays d’Afrique subsaharienne participant à la Coupe du Monde de la FIFA au Qatar, a pour but de dialoguer avec les fédérations de football, les supporters et les médias.
Ainsi, Samuel Eto’o par ailleurs président de la FECAFOOT, a tenu une conférence ce mardi devant la presse sénégalaise.
Cette rencontre, lui a permis d’aborder, entre autres, la Coupe du monde et les chances de l’Afrique ainsi que la domination du Sénégal sur le football africain qui selon lui, possède dans ses rangs l’actuel meilleur joueur du monde Sadio Mané. Ce qui lui fait dire que le « Sénégal sera la tête d’affiche de l’Afrique au Qatar. »
