Jeannie Cointre, 38 ans, prend la tête du groupe de Btp implanté au Sénégal depuis 2012, avec l’ambition de participer à la mutation sociale, écologique et numérique du secteur. Selon un communiqué de presse, cette évolution historique de gouvernance sonne l’indépendance nouvelle de Famy Sénégal, jusqu’alors filiale de l’entreprise familiale française dirigée par Jacques Famy.
Avec 5 implantations au Sénégal (Dakar, Diack, Sébikotane, Thiès, Ndendory), 150 collaborateurs et un chiffre d’affaires de 12 millions d’euros, Famy Sénégal est un acteur majeur du secteur du Btp au Sénégal. «Désormais indépendant du groupe historique – dont les autres branches et activités ont été revendues aux groupes Lafarge et Buesa –, Famy Sénégal entame un virage stratégique avec la nomination de Jeannie Cointre à sa tête, axé sur les chantiers de travaux publics, la féminisation des métiers du secteur, et l’importance croissante des enjeux de digitalisation et de cybersécurité », lit-on dans le communiqué.
Après une carrière sportive professionnelle en basketball, Jeannie Cointre s’engage dans une activité dans la banque (Crédit agricole) et puis dans la gestion, la stratégie d’entreprise et les levées de fonds (Westmount Capital), en lien avec le développement du continent africain et les réseaux de la diaspora. Passée par la prestigieuse Organisation internationale du Cern et le CyberPeace Institute, Jeannie Cointre est une entrepreneuse passionnée dans les domaines du numérique et de la cybersécurité : elle siège au conseil d’administration de l’Ong Hackers Sans Frontières, de la fondation digiVolution et coproduit l’émission CyberEtik qu’elle anime.
À la tête de Famy Sénégal, Jeannie Cointre met son profil entrepreneur et polyvalent au service d’un secteur en pleine transformation. La priorité de son mandat sera de tripler le chiffre d’affaires en trois ans, d’investir dans la construction des infrastructures vitales pour l’intérêt général, tout en modernisant les profils des collaborateurs pour accueillir un plus grand nombre de talents féminins et spécialisés dans la digitalisation du secteur.
À ses côtés, Maleye Ndoye, figure emblématique du sport sénégalais et Thomas Guichard, ex directeur export du groupe Famy deviennent co-gérants de la société, la direction générale incombant à Michel Lamy, ex directeur de travaux terrassement d’Eiffage ; Quant à Jean-Marie Mai, il pilotera la direction des finances de l’entreprise.
