Avec l’arrestation à Kédougou du gynécologue, de l’anesthésiste et d’un infirmier, suite au décès dans le bloc opératoire de M. D. Diallo, les réactions de leurs collègues fusent de partout.
Après le SUTSAS, le Sames décrète une grève des travailleurs de la santé sur toute l’étendue du territoire ce vendredi 02 septembre 2022, tout en traitant les urgences. Le syndicat proteste ainsi contre « l’acharnement de l’État » contre les médecins, sages-femmes, techniciens supérieurs et infirmiers. « Médecins en prison, blocs fermés! », ont-ils lancé.
Mais le Sames s’en est aussi pris à la presse. Dans un communiqué repris par Seneweb, il ne manque pas de tirer à boulets rouges sur la presse : « Le sarcasme d’une presse à sensation, ignorant l’existence d’un geste médical douloureux de dernier recours qui a sauvé tant de femmes appelé embryotomie, le présente comme un acte barbare pour surfer sur la douleur de la famille en trompant beaucoup de sénégalais au passage ».
