Le ministre de la Culture et du Patrimoine historique, Aliou Sow, a remis au gouverneur de la région de Kaffrine, El Hadji Bouya Amar, des œuvres d’art d’une valeur de 4,5 millions de francs CFA, destinées à la décoration intérieure de la sphère administrative régionale.
Ces œuvres ont été confectionnées par cinq artistes plasticiens de la région de Kaffrine, dont El Hadji Thierno Vilane, lauréat du troisième prix d’art visuel du dernier Festival national des arts et cultures (FESNAC), organisé à Fatick du 9 au 12 décembre 2023.
Cette cérémonie d’aujourd’hui célèbre “le talent artistique et les compétences des acteurs culturels de la région de Kaffrine”, a dit M. Sow lors de la remise des tableaux.
Il a invité ”tous les Kaffrinois de tout bord, à participer à la valorisation de cette sphère, tant pour la décoration, l’embellissement, l’entretien, la préservation et la protection”.
Aliou Sow a annoncé la tenue d’une compétition régionale de production d’arts visuels pour revaloriser le patrimoine historique de Kaffrine.
”Bientôt, je vais lancer une compétition régionale de production d’arts visuels sur l’histoire du Beuleup Ndoucoumane (le roi du Ndoucoumane) et de Ndoucourane”, a-t-il dit, assurant que tous les artistes seront primés et leurs tableaux acquis pour renforcer la décoration de la sphère administrative.
