Alors qu’il quitte le pouvoir dans moins de 5 mois, le président Macky Sall a annoncé un programme d’investissement prioritaire de 600 milliards de francs CFA pour la région de Kédougou sur la période 2024-2026.
« Le programme d’investissement prioritaire qui a été décliné par le gouvernement et que je valide sera de 600 milliards pour les 3 prochaines années c’est-à-dire 2024, 2025, et 2026», a-t-il annoncé, lundi, en présidant un conseil présidentiel en marge de sa tournée économique.
Le chef de l’État a précisé que « c’est en moyenne 200 milliards par année, c’est un défi». Macky Sall s’exprimait devant le Premier ministre Amadou Bâ, le gouverneur de la région de Kédougou, Mariama Traoré ainsi que plusieurs autorités locales de la région de Kédougou.
Il ajoute: « Sur ces 600 milliards, il faut que les 200 milliards aillent en faveur de la jeunesse, son employabilité et la promotion des groupements féminins». Avant de demander au gouvernement de mettre l’accent sur le capital humain afin d’arrêter l’hémorragie de la migration irrégulière et les pertes en vie humaines que le phénomène engendre.
Selon Macky Sall, ce programme à surtout l’avantage de refléter les priorités bien articulées du Plan Sénégal émergent.
Le président de la République a pris une série de 15 mesures qui concernent les secteurs clés de la vie économique de la région.
Ces mesures vont permettre de désenclaver certaines zones, renforcer le dispositif sécuritaire au niveau des zones frontalières, de faciliter l’accès à l’eau potable, de booster l’emploi des jeunes et des femmes, a expliqué Macky Sall.
Elles vont également impacter les secteurs de l’éducation, la santé, mais également des mines.
