Ce lundi 7 octobre 2023, la Direction générale des élections (DGE) a communiqué les résultats de l’examen des candidatures pour les élections législatives anticipées prévues le 17 novembre 2024. Sur les 49 dossiers soumis, 41 ont été validés, laissant ainsi huit candidatures rejetées. Ces dernières disposent d’une période de 24 heures pour introduire un recours auprès du Conseil constitutionnel avant la diffusion de la liste officielle des candidats.
La validation de ces candidatures constitue une étape clé dans le processus électoral, marquée par l’impatience des différents partis et coalitions en lice. Ces formations, diverses par leur taille et leur influence, visent à obtenir des sièges au sein de la prochaine Assemblée nationale. Les candidatures retenues illustrent la pluralité du paysage politique sénégalais, reflétant la diversité des visions qui s’affronteront lors de ce scrutin anticipé.
