Accusé d’avoir égorgé son collègue Abdou Diaw, lundi dernier à Sogas, Abdou Mb a été arrêté le même jour à Nguékokh (Mbour), chez sa défunte tante, où il s’était réfugié après son acte. Les éléments du commissariat de Pikine n’auraient eu aucun mal pour l’appréhender. Il n’aurait opposé aucune résistance lorsqu’il a été extrait de sa cachette et menotté pour être conduit à Dakar.
D’après L’Observateur, qui a rejoué ce jeudi le film de l’arrestation de Abdou Mb., les éléments du commissariat de Pikine ont pris la direction de Nguékokh le jour du drame vers 20 heures. Ils étaient accompagnés du frère du meurtrier présumé et de son épouse.
Le journal précise qu’après avoir tranché la gorge de Abdou Diaw, Abdou Mb a informé par téléphone le premier avant de prendre la clé des champs.
La source indique que cet appel s’avérera fatal au suspect puisque les enquêteurs ont ainsi pu géolocaliser son téléphone et suivre ses déplacements.
Arrivé à destination, les policiers ont garé leur voiture dans le noir, loin de la cachette de Abdou Mb. Ils passeront à l’action après avoir mis en place un dispositif d’intervention.
Lorsqu’ils font irruption dans la maison, ils fouillent les chambres.
Dans l’une des pièces, il tombe sur un homme et lui demande de décliner son identité : «C’est bien toi Abdou Mb. ?» Ce dernier répond : «Oui, c’est bien moi.» Il est pris au collet et conduit dans la Cour de la concession. Son frère et son épouse, à la demande des policiers, l’identifient formellement.
L’Observateur rapporte qu’il avouera son crime devant ses parents.
Puis, «il jette un regard à son épouse, baisse la tête avant d’être conduit à bord du véhicule de police, destination Pikine».
Abdou Mb. a été interrogé le même jour au commissariat de Pikine. Le journal du Groupe Futurs médias informe que la reconstitution des faits est prévue ce jeudi à la Sogas, lieu du crime.
