L’Association des métiers de la musique attend par ailleurs de la nouvelle administration qu’elle “adopte une politique fiscale justement adaptée à l’industrie musicale, stimulant ainsi son expansion et son innovation”.

Selon son président, il y a aussi besoin de “favoriser la libre circulation des œuvres et des artistes, essentielle à la diversité culturelle et à l’enrichissement mutuel et sauvegarder et promouvoir le patrimoine musical national, notre héritage collectif et source d’inspiration intarissable pour le futur”.
“Ces propositions sont le fruit d’une réflexion profonde sur les enjeux et les opportunités du secteur de la musique sénégalaise.
Elles témoignent de notre volonté de travailler de concert avec le gouvernement pour que la musique, pilier de notre identité culturelle et vecteur de notre développement économique, occupe la place qu’elle mérite”, note Daniel Gomes.
