Communique de l’Alliance Pour la République (APR)
Les élections législatives du 31 juillet 2022 ont consacré, encore une fois, la majorité politique de la Coalition au pouvoir, Benno Bokk Yaakaar. Les premières tendances issues des urnes, confortées par les résultats provisoires de commissions départementales de recensement des votes, indiquent clairement que le Président Macky SALL conserve sa majorité à l’Assemblée nationale.
L’Alliance Pour la République (APR) se félicite de la maturité du peuple sénégalais qui a su déjouer les pronostics aléatoires de l’opposition en termes de probabilité d’une « cohabitation » au pouvoir. Le peuple a fait le choix de la consolidation par la confiance politique et du progrès social qui est au cœur des politiques publiques dont le référentiel unique demeure le Plan Sénégal Emergent (PSE).
L’Alliance Pour la République (APR) tient à rappeler que la configuration du vote des Sénégalais qui a permis à la Coalition présidentielle de gagner les 2/3 des départements du pays avec des scores nets, exclut toute idée de cohabitation ou d’affaissement du présidentialisme qui caractérise notre régime politique.
Ainsi, l’Alliance Pour la République (APR) n’acceptera aucune forme de pression sur les commissions de recensement des votes et les organes de régulation électorale, pour discréditer le vote des Sénégalais sous le prétexte fallacieux d’une fraude qui pourrait entacher la sincérité du vote du 31 juillet 2022. Notre système ne peut accepter cette posture qui se félicite de la régularité d’un scrutin lorsqu’on gagne et qui invoque la fraude en cas de défaite.
L’Alliance Pour la République (APR) fustige cette posture irresponsable de l’opposition peu utile à la démocratie et qui n’est pas conforme à la solidité de notre système électoral éprouvé. Si la fraude était possible, le pouvoir n’aurait pas perdu des villes importantes comme Dakar.
Dès lors, l’Alliance Pour la République (APR) exige, de la part de l’opposition, le respect du verdict des urnes qui confère une majorité au Président Macky SALL. Les approximations arithmétiques et les menaces verbales ne sauraient travestir la réalité du fait politique qui fixe les repères d’une victoire.
Les Sénégalais ont donné leur confiance au Président Macky SALL malgré les servitudes politiques d’une opposition à la démarche pernicieuse et populiste. Le chaos ne s’est pas installé au soir du 31 décembre et les sarabandes du 1er août ne sauraient augurer le déluge. Car, les Sénégalais ont administré la preuve que notre démocratie est représentative de la maturité de notre peuple qui a voté en toute liberté
Dans cette perspective, l’Alliance Pour la République exhorte les responsables, membres et sympathisants de la Coalition ainsi que les démocrates à maintenir le cap de la mobilisation collective et de la vigilance.
