La première dame a effectué sa première apparition publique dans la campagne pour les Législatives du 31 juillet. Marième Faye était hier, dimanche, aux Parcelles Assainies.
D’après L’Observateur, qui donne l’information dans son édition de ce lundi, elle était partie soutenir Amadou Ba, qui recevait l’état-major départemental de Benno Bokk Yakaar conduit par la tête de liste de la coalition à Dakar, le ministre Alioune Ndoye.
Le journal rapporte que Marième Faye a retrouvé Amadou Ba chez Doudou Diaw, un notable parcellois récemment décédé. L’ancien ministre présentait ses condoléances à sa famille.
Ensuite, la première dame, avec ses hôtes, s’est dirigée à la Maison des Parcellois, QG de l’ancien ministre des Affaires étrangères, pour une rencontre avec les imams et délégués de quartier des Parcelles Assainies.
Marième Faye a pris congé à la fin de la rencontre. Elle semble déterminée à battre campagne pour le compte du camp présidentiel comme elle l’avait fait lors des Législatives de 2017 et de la Présidentielle de 2019.
