Pour Birahim Seck et ses camarades, l’impact d’une réconciliation nationale durable et consensuelle doit reposer sur la vérité et la justice. Avant de préciser « qu’une réconciliation préfabriquée ou arrangée même revêtue voile de la légalité ne génèrera que de la haine, du ressentiment, de l’incompréhension gros de risques pour l’unité nationale.
Les Sénégalais ont besoin de connaître la vérité, en situant les responsabilités sur les atrocités que des citoyens ont subies durant les événements survenus entre 2021 et 2024″.
Au-delà, poursuit le Forum civil, des Sénégalaises et des Sénégalais ont vécu dans la violence. Et que dans l’ensemble ce sont tous les secteurs du pays qui ont souffert de ces terreurs extrêmes.
Ainsi recommande le Forum civil : » des enquêtes transparentes et indépendantes soient diligentées pour situer les responsabilités sur les « faits se rapportant aux manifestations politiques survenues entre 2021et 2024″.
