Selon les informations de la presse italienne, parcouru par wiwsport.com, Empoli aurait fait de l’attaquant sénégalais Mbaye Niang l’une de ses prochaines cibles.
Mbaye Niang, qui a rejoint l’été dernier la Turquie en provenance d’Auxerre, a connu une première moitié de saison satisfaisante sous les couleurs de l’Adana Demirspor où il a inscrit huit buts et délivré deux passes décisives en 20 matchs toutes compétitions confondues. Mais son aventure avec la formation pensionnaire de Süper Lig pourrait toucher à sa fin, puisque Mbaye Niang a exprimé l’envie de sauter.
Il s’agit certainement d’une situation favorable pour le promu en Serie A, Empoli et Genoa qui surveillent de près la situation du joueur.
Et si l’on se fie aux informations de la presse italienne, les dirigeants d’Azzurri qui cherchent un nouveau buteur pour la deuxième partie de saison, tiennent la corde dans ce dossier. Et Empoli aimerait signer libre l’ancien attaquant de l’AC Milan et du Torino.
Pour rappel, le Genoa a été le premier club italien à exprimer sa volonté de recruter l’attaquant sénégalais.
