Hotna Cufuk Na Doha, président du conseil des ministres de l’OMVG et ministre des ressources naturelles de la République Guinée-Bissau, a annoncé , Samedi, à Dakar, de bonnes perceptives pour l’organisation pour la mise en valeur du fleuve Gambie (OMVG) en dépit de certaines difficultés financières liées au retard des contributions des Etats membres de l’organisation .
“Les perspectives de l’OMVG sont bonnes. A partir de cette réunion, nous pensons que les ministres qui sont venus représenter leurs pays pourront travailler avec les Etas membres pour que des solutions soient trouvées pour certaines de nos difficultés“ a-t-il- déclaré.
Il intervenait à Dakar lors de la 49ème session ordinaire du conseil des ministres préparatoire à la 11ème conférence des chefs d’Etat et gouvernement de l’OMVG.
“Nous rencontrons toujours des difficultés financières mais nous pensons qu’à partir de cette réunion, les Etats membres seront sensibilisés pour qu’ils s’acquittent des retards“ a-t-il-souligné.
“Autres perspectives c’est le démarrage du barrage de Saltigno, les travaux avancent bien. Nous sommes en train de travailler pour mobiliser les ressources financières nécessaires pour la construction du Barrage“ a-t-il-dit.
S’agissant du barrage de Sambagalou, le président du conseil des ministres de l’OMVG souligne que le projet avance malgré les quelques retards que les Etats membres s’attellent à régler dans un délai proche.
