Le ministre des Pêches et de l’Economie maritime, Alioune Ndoye, a visité samedi, le chantier en construction du complexe frigorifique du quai de pèche de Hann à Dakar.
Pour un coût global de plus de trois milliard de francs, l’ouvrage en cours de réalisation est financé par la coopération coréenne, avec la contribution de l’Etat du Sénégal.
Selon le ministre Ndoye, en visite samedi sur le site, ce complexe comprend, trois chambres froides de 500 tonnes chacune, une chambre à glace d’une capacité de 20 tonnes par jour.
Il compte aussi une zone de traitement et parage des poissons, une zone de nettoyage et une zone dédiée au bureau pour l’administration du complexe.
Alioune Ndoye a précisé que sur un espace de 2660 m2 dédié, l’infrastructure est construite sur une superficie 1560 m2.
‘’Dans le projet, il est prévu d’envoyer trois personnes en Corée du Sud pour une formation dans le cadre du transfert de technologie afin d’assurer la maintenance et l’exploitation de l’ouvrage’’, a-t-il indiqué.
Pendant ce temps, a-t-il assuré, les coréens vont assurer l’accompagnement de la partie sénégalaise pour une durée de deux ans dans la maintenance et l’exploitation de l’infrastructure.
‘’Pour arriver à ce niveau d’avancement du projet, les occupants de cet espace ont été indemnisés. Ce qui nous a permis de démarrer les travaux depuis le 15 octobre, pour une durée de 12 mois’’, a-t-il fait savoir.
‘’Aujourd’hui, 50% du travail est achevé, l’ensemble du matériel qui doit entrer dans la construction est sur le site. Nous pensons qu’au mois de novembre ce chantier sera livré’’, a indiqué le ministre des Pêches et de l’Economie maritime.
