Lat Diop n’a pas versé 3 milliards de F CFA en guise de remboursement à l’Etat du Sénégal. Les éclaircissements ont été apportés par ses avocats. Ces derniers, dans un communiqué parvenu à Seneweb rejettent en bloc cette information relayée par une partie des sites d’informations.
« Plusieurs sites certainement en mal d’audience véhiculent une information selon laquelle Monsieur Lat Diop aurait remboursé 3 milliards de francs CFA à l’Etat du Sénégal et resterait devoir 2 milliards (sic).Il s’agit d’une information fausse et dénuée de tout fondement », lit-on dans le communiqué.
Le sieur Lat Diop, poursuivent-ils, ne doit absolument rien à l’Etat du Sénégal qu’il a servi loyalement et honnêtement par le passé.
‘’Cette information n’engage que ceux qui l’ont diffusée et procède d’une manipulation grossière et d’une intoxication.
