Abdoulaye Baldé, qui nourrissait le doux rêve d’être ministre dans le gouvernement de Amadou Ba, agite l’idée d’une démission de la présidence de la Commission de défense de l’Assemblée nationale. Il serait mécontent.
La mouvance présidentielle a du pain sur la planche. Benno bokk yaakaar (Bby) est dans une logique de dialogue pour conforter sa majorité. Mais des prémices d’une fronde viennent jeter à la fenêtre tout espoir d’y parvenir.
En effet, alors que Aminata Touré n’a pas fini de faire le tour des médias pour saborder la communication de Bby, vexée qu’elle est par le choix de Macky de ne point lui confier la présidence de l’Assemblée nationale ou du groupe parlementaire, c’est un autre allié qui se signale. Abdoulaye Baldé, le président de l’Union des centristes du Sénégal (Ucs), est, semble-t-il, mécontent de la place que son parti occupe au sein de la mouvance présidentielle
L’ancien maire de Ziguinchor s’attendait à être nommé ministre dans le nouveau gouvernement de Amadou Ba. Il faut croire qu’il n’a pas la carrure d’un «combattant». Alors qu’il a régné en maître dans le Sud du pays, Abdoulaye Baldé a été déboulonné par Ousmane Sonko aux élections locales. Si certains observateurs ont qualifié de débâcle cette contre-performance de l’Ucs, certains estimaient qu’avec la connaissance du landerneau politique ziguinchorois,
Baldé avait de grandes chances de se rattraper aux Législatives. Bien qu’il n’ait pas été choisi comme tête de liste départementale, l’ancien maire de Ziguinchor n’avait que ses yeux pour constater la fulgurante percée de l’opposition. Fort de ce constat, Abdoulaye Baldé estime, selon ses proches, que la présidence de la Commission de défense de l’Assemblée nationale n’est pas à la hauteur de ses attentes. Hier, une démission à ce poste a été agitée. Mais elle n’a pas encore été matérialisée.
Selon toujours les proches de Baldé, l’ancien maire de Ziguinchor, qui a perdu sa base électorale à cause de Ousmane Sonko, se voyait ministre dans le gouvernement de «combat» que dirige Amadou Ba. Présent dans la liste des 26 personnalités devant répondre à la Cour de répression de l’enrichissement illicite (Crei), Abdoulaye Baldé avait fait le choix de rejoindre la mouvance présidentielle.
Depuis cet événement, le Centriste en chef n’a pas eu une carrière digne de son rang d’ancien ministre. Il est, à la limite, considéré comme un allié de plus dans la longue liste des partis et mouvements qui composent Bby. Mais à moins de 2 ans de la Présidentielle, Abdoulaye Baldé sait qu’il n’a plus rien à perdre.
Toujours est-il que la configuration actuelle de l’Assemblée nationale plaide en sa faveur. Car chaque voix compte pour Bby. S’il suit le chemin de Aminata Touré, Macky Sall ne pourra compter que sur 81 députés alors que Yewwi askan wi en a 80 et peut compter sur les deux non-inscrits.
