    Saint-Louis -en colère contre la direction de l’hôpital régional qui fustige leurs actions : les membres de l’Association « Sauver Saint-Louis » expriment leur profonde indignation et désolation

    Le communiqué rendu public récemment par la Direction du Centre hospitalier régional de Saint-Louis pour fustiger les actions entreprises depuis un mois par l’Association Sauver Saint-Louis ne plait pas du tout à cette dernière qui a manifesté sa profonde indignation et désolation. Face à la presse ce week-end, ses membres ont déclaré ne pas comprendre l’attitude du Directeur de cet hôpital.

    « D’abord, il urge de souligner qu’une pareille initiative n’est pas prise de manière solitaire. En tant que Saint-louisiens soucieux du bien-être des populations, nous avons constaté que la structure sanitaire la plus vaste de la région, en l’occurrence l’hôpital régional, est confronté à bon nombre de difficultés qui impactent négativement les citoyens.

    Ces dernières ont pour objet le problème de scanner qui contraint les patients à aller jusqu’à Louga pour bénéficier de ce service moyennant un coût exorbitant et très onéreux facturé au patient.

    Il s’y ajoute l’ascenseur qui n’est plus fonctionnel depuis un certain moment. Mais le nœud principal concerne la morgue de l’hôpital qui ne répond plus aux standards contemporains », ont-ils fait part.

    Conscients, ont-ils ajouté, de la gravité de la situation et compte tenu de l’urgence du moment afin de répondre correctement aux aspirations des populations, le collectif a estimé nécessaire d’entrer en contact avec le Directeur afin de contribuer à sa manière à l’allègement des difficultés des populations, tout en réaffirmant avec fermeté, que la démarche s’inscrit dans une dynamique inclusive dont l’interlocuteur principal demeure le Directeur l’hôpital, par ailleurs seule autorité habilitée à approuver certaines décisions parmi lesquelles la réfection de la morgue qui repose essentiellement sur des discussions approfondies ayant abouti à un consensus clair et à une évaluation précise réalisée par des experts technique

    s. « Contrairement aux allégations contenues dans son communiqué, notre initiative citoyenne, apolitique et totalement transparente, s’inscrit dans une volonté de combler des lacunes manifestes pour garantir des services dignes à la population. Nous déplorons vivement la tentative de discréditer une mobilisation solidaire dont le seul objectif est d’améliorer les conditions de vie des habitants de Saint-Louis.

    Loin de nous détourner, cette situation renforce notre détermination à agir dans l’intérêt général, avec le soutien de tous ceux qui partagent notre vision d’une ville exemplaire et unie.

    Le porte-parole du jour, Amath Diaw, de poursuivre : « le plus cocasse dans cette situation est la bénédiction reçue du Directeur de l’hôpital dans l’émission « Ndar Ragne » où il saluait les actions entreprises par le collectif Sauver Saint-Louis jotna.

    D’ailleurs, ces actions menées de concert avec les Saint-Louisiens d’ici et de la Diaspora ont permis de collecter 3 000 000 FCFA et 07 splits dont un réceptionné par la Direction de l’hôpital sur ordre de la hiérarchie.

    Pas plus tard qu’hier, à l’occasion de la commémoration de l’anniversaire du décès de Ousmane Masseck Ndiaye, le collectif a reçu une contribution magnifique du CAP (Cercle des Amis du Président Ousmane Masseck Ndiaye) qui a manifesté son soutien, son encouragement et son adhésion au collectif pour un Saint-Louis meilleur », a-t-il précisé.

    C’est ainsi qu’ils invitent le Directeur de l’hôpital régional de Saint-Louis et son équipe à une collaboration franche pour qu’ensemble, ils puissent relever les défis de ce vieux hôpital.
