Cette diminution est essentiellement imputable à la contreperformance notée dans la production des industries extractives (-31,1%) et manufacturières (-2,9%) dans une moindre mesure. La production des industries environnementales (+7,3%) et celle d’électricité, de gaz et d’eau (+6,4%) se sont, en revanche, améliorées sur la période sous revue comparés à la période correspondante de l’année précédente.
Selon la même source, durant le premier semestre de 2022, la production industrielle s’est repliée de 1,6%, par rapport à la période correspondante de 2021. L’activité d’égrenage de coton est marquée par un arrêt de production en juin 2022, en liaison avec le cycle de production du coton. Elle s’est détériorée de 6,2% sur les six premiers mois de 2022, comparativement au cumul sur la même période de 2021.
