Le président de la filière d’oignons de Thiès, Aly Ndiaye, en phase avec les populations Thiéssoises car, pointe du doigt l’Etat du Sénégal, notamment le ministre de l’agriculture qui n’a pas honoré ses engagements pour le compte de la fête de l’Aïd el-Kébir.
À Thiès, le sac d’oignons est vendu entre 9000 et 9500 F CFA, alors qu’à la korité, il y a deux mois, le prix était de 6000 F CFA. Mais la plus spectaculaire hausse est le prix de la pomme de terre qui est vendu actuellement à 11000, voire 13000 F CFA.
