D’après le journal Bés Bi, un lion circule dans le département de Saraya Fily Soumaré à Kédougou. Il aurait été aperçu ces derniers jours par des voyageurs entre Bembou Sabodala, Bembou Massa-Massa et Khossanto.
Alertés, des agents des Eaux et Forêts se sont déployés sur les lieux. En attendant de retrouver le fauve, ils sensibilisent les populations des localités concernées sur les précautions à prendre. En outre, le vice-président du Conseil départemental de Saraya appelle à la vigilance. Bés Bi rapporte, sans plus de détails, que le lion en question serait présent dans la zone depuis deux ans. Et qu’il ne sortirait de sa tanière que durant l’hivernage.
