Les autorités sanitaires envisagent mettre en place un nouveau plan de communication pour l’intégration de la vaccination contre la Covid-19 qui vise les enfants, les personnes âgées, les femmes enceintes ou les individus qui vivent avec des maladies chroniques.
Pour l’intégration de la vaccination contre la Covid-19, le ministre de la santé et de l’Action sociale, en partenariat avec le projet de l’Usaid « Break-throught Action », a organisé un atelier d’actualisation des supports et messages de communication du 16 au 18 janvier 2024, à Thiès.
Selon le directeur du service national de l’éducation et de l’information sanitaire sociale, Lamine Bara Gaye, ce plan de communication permettra de « relancer la vaccination contre la Covid-19 qui est toujours de rigueur avec des stocks de doses disponibles dans les structures de santé ».
Dans cette situation, poursuit-il, le nouveau plan va mettre en exergue les « les personnes vulnérables comme les enfants, les personnes âgées, les femmes enceintes ou les personnes qui vivent avec des maladies chroniques », a annoncé M. Gaye qui profite à cette occasion pour inviter les populations à la vigilance et au respect du port de masque.
En effet, ces derniers jours, la direction de la prévention du ministère de la santé et de l’action sociale, avait annoncé, 34 cas positifs liés à la Covid-19 ont été constatés au cours du mois de janvier 2024.
