Une délégation de l’Office national de formation professionnelle (Onfp) s’est rendue, pour une visite de travail, le jeudi 18 juillet 2024, à Concentrix Dakar. Selon l’Onfp, cette multinationale américaine, avec un réseau de plus 450000 collaborateurs à travers le monde, s’illustre dans la gestion de la relation client et le Bpo (Business process outsourcing).
En compagnie du secrétaire général, de la directrice de la formation et des responsables du partenariat et du service informatique, le directeur général, Mouhamdou Lamine Bara Lo a été accueilli par Karim LAYACHI, directeur général de Concentrix Dakar, et Mandaw THIAM, Business Activities Manager.
La direction de Concentrix Dakar a partagé la feuille de route de la structure qui s’articule autour de la mise en œuvre de sites délocalisés dans plusieurs départements, pour favoriser l’emploi et l’ancrage des jeunes au niveau des terroirs.
Cet ambitieux programme, a-t-il précisé, permettra à moyen terme de créer plus de 10.000 emplois directs grâce à l’accompagnement de l’Onfp pour la formalisation et la création d’une convention collective, la classification des métiers ciblés et la formation, ainsi que l’implication d’autres partenaires institutionnels.
« Nous avons, au nom de l’Onfp, magnifié la démarche de Concentrix Dakar qui est en parfaite adéquation avec la vision du Chef de l’Etat, S.E M. Bassirou Diomaye FAYE », confie le directeur général de l’Onfp.
A l’en croire, cette vision consiste, d’une part, à favoriser l’insertion professionnelle des jeunes et des femmes par des formations qualifiantes et, d’autre part, à renforcer le partenariat public-privé, levier incontournable du développement économique.
Dans le même sillage, il dit avoir exprimé toute la « disponibilité » de l’Onfp à accompagner un tel projet pour une meilleure appropriation des nouveaux métiers liés aux technologies et aux données, ainsi que leur intégration dans les processus de gestion des organisations.
La délégation de l’Onfp a eu droit à une visite des lieux qui a permis d’apprécier le cadre de travail de Concentrix Dakar.
