Les équipes masculines et féminines du Sénégal se préparent activement pour les qualifications zonales de Beach Volley en vue des Jeux Olympiques de Paris 2024. Prévues du 24 au 26 novembre 2023 sur la plage de Diamalaye, ces qualifications représentent une opportunité unique pour le Sénégal.
Le choix du Sénégal pour accueillir ce tournoi de qualification de la zone 2 a été accueilli avec honneur et fierté par la Fédération Sénégalaise de Volley-ball. « La mise en place précoce d’un comité d’organisation dédié et l’engagement technique démontrent notre détermination à relever ce défi.
Nous avons informé les instances gouvernementales et recherché des partenaires pour garantir le succès de cet événement », a souligné Amadou Sèye, Président de la Fédération.
Cependant, malgré une préparation intensive, le soutien financier reste un défi crucial. Le manque d’attention des autorités envers le Volley-ball a rendu la quête de sponsors et de soutiens plus ardue, a regretté le responsable de l’organisation.
Malgré ces défis, les équipes restent confiantes. « Le travail acharné finit toujours par payer. Notre équipe est prête à affronter toute adversité », a assuré le capitaine masculin.
Cette détermination est partagée par la capitaine de l’équipe féminine, exprimant une confiance absolue en ses coéquipières pour offrir le meilleur d’elles-mêmes.
