Les tractations sont en cours au niveau des états-majors de l’opposition en vue de l’installation des députés de la 14e législature. Du côté de Yewwi Askan Wi (56 députés), les leaders multiplient les réunions. Au niveau de la coalition Wallu Sénégal (24 sièges), les principaux responsables défilent chez Abdoulaye Wade, leur tête de file.
D’après Source A, les membres du directoire de la coalition regroupé autour du PDS, sont d’ailleurs les seuls à avoir accès à l’ancien chef de l’Etat. Le journal signale que Me Wade reçoit chaque jour des dizaines de demandes d’audience auxquelles il a décidé de ne pas donner suite pour le moment.
En ce moment, son seul centre d’intérêt ce sont les activités de son parti et celles de la coalition dont il était la tête de liste nationale lors des Législatives du 31 juillet dernier. Source A renseigne que s’il cherche les moyens de recoller les morceaux avec les éléments de son parti frustrés par les investitures pour la course à l’Assemblée nationale, Abdoulaye Wade demande à Wallu de préserver son partenariat avec Yewwi.
L’inter-coalition est d’ailleurs en réflexion pour la constitution d’un seul groupe parlementaire. Si un tel projet aboutit, Yewwi-Wallu disposera de 80 députés. Benno restera majoritaire, mais d’une courte tête. D’autant que les occupants des deux sièges restants (Pape Djibril Fall et Thierno Alassane Sall) ont clamé leur ancrage dans l’opposition.
