D’après L’Observateur de ce jeudi, l’ancien maire de Dakar et président de l’Hémicycle, a pris sa décision qu’il va communiquer en fin de journée (17 heures), au siège de son parti, au cours d’un point de presse.
Le journal rapporte que tout s’est joué à Diourbel où s’était rendu Pape Diop hier, mercredi, pour s’entretenir avec le khalife général des mourides, Serigne Mountakha Mbacké, qui y est en retraite. Au terme de l’audience que lui a accordée le chef de la communauté mouride, le leader de Bokk Gis Gis a choisi la voie qu’il va suivre à l’Assemblée nationale sans la rendre publique. Il accorde la primeur à la presse.
