Ce lundi 01 avril 2024, aux alentours de 04 heures 31 minutes, un violent accident de circulation est survenu sur l’axe Patte d’oie – Yoff . Le bilan est lourd : trois victimes, dont deux ont perdu la vie, rapporte Sénégaldirect.
Le Capitaine Aissatou Keïta, commandant de la 12ème compagnie d’incendie et de secours des sapeurs-pompiers de Dieuppeul, s’est retrouvé sur les lieux de l’accident.
Alertée de la tragédie, son équipe est intervenue rapidement, quelques minutes seulement après avoir été informée de la situation.
Sur place, la scène était horrible.
« Lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avons découvert trois victimes coincées dans une petite voiture. Nous les avons toutes extraites, mais malheureusement, deux étaient déjà décédées », a déclaré le commandant Keïta.
Selon son témoignage, l’accident a été provoqué par un dérapage suivi d’un renversement.
Les victimes, des jeunes hommes déjà identifiés, ont été transportées immédiatement à l’hôpital, dès l’arrivée de certains membres de leur famille sur les lieux.
