Décidément, le Maire de la commune de Tenghori, département de Bignona ne s’arrêtera pas avant d’avoir atteint ses objectifs dans le domaine de formation des jeunes et surtout des femmes de sa collectivité territoriale. En effet, après la zone de Badiouré, le formateur du conseil national des artisans du Sénégal, M. Touré du pôle sud Casamance est à Mangoulé où il déroule une formation en transformation des produits locaux sur instruction du Maire Sidy Badji.
Des sirops de maad, de bissap de ditakh, des gâteaux d’anniversaire ou simple, des fataya, du pastille à base de gingembre entre autres sont faits par les femmes qui ont désormais un savoir-faire. L’objectif du maire et son équipe est de rendre autonomes les jeunes et les femmes pour lutter contre la pauvreté et freiner l’exode rural ou encore l’émigration clandestine. Après Mangoulé, l’équipe des formateurs se rendra dans une autre localité pour faire le même travail. Le Maire a donc décidé que toutes les zones de sa commune seront touchées.
